Labor day

When Barry left and was speeding through the city, his destination for star labs, he felt his phone buzzing in his pocket. he sighs shortly then he slows to a regular speed walk and answers the phone. "Heeeeey Caitlin.. hows your day?" He tries to act cute since he knows he's in trouble.

"Get to star labs, now!" She hangs up the phone and he groans quietly then he continued speeding through the street.

He exits the elevator and immediately his ears were hit with loud groaning "Caitlin?" He said loudly.

"In here, hurry!" He sped into the cortex and he saw Jesse leaned against the table, sweating down and sobbing. Wally looks up at Barry while Caitlin was trying to usher her to the door "Barry you and Wally need to get her to the ER"

Barry looks to Jesses pained face and then looked back to Caitlin before he gently lifts her and he sped her about two blocks away and to the hospital.

"Somebody help!" Wally yells as they entered the emergency room.

One of the men looked up and then he rolls a chair over "what happened?"

"She- she she said her stomach was hurting- it was like cramps or something and then she just started screaming about the baby" Wally tripped over his words as the doctors wheeled her into an exam room "how far along is she?" The leading woman said, her name tag read Victoria.

"Uhh almost nine months... do- do you think she's going into labor!" Wally's face floods with panic immediately and he looks to Barry wide eyed who just squeezed his shoulders.

"That's a possibility, we're going to get her an ultrasound to check on the baby and then if this is labor we're gonna get her checked in. Are you dad?" Victoria motions to Wally and he nods quickly.

"Yeah I'm her boyfriend- the baby's father"

"Okay, dad you stay, and you sir have to wait outside in the waiting room" Barry gave a thumbs up "text me updates?"

Wally nods and Barry walks out of the room.

About thirty minutes later Caitlin arrived and Barry stood up putting his arms out for a hug.

She wraps her arms around his neck sighing contently "hows Jesse?"

"The doctors say she's indeed in labor... could be a few hours" he kisses her shoulder then he lets her go and sits back in his chair. "I know Wally is freaking out... " she nods quickly and she rests a hand against the back of his neck running through his hair slowly "you're not gonna freak out for our sons birth are you?"

His eyes widened as he turned to face her "what?!" She smiles a little and then she laughs "I mean in the future, I'm not pregnant now Barry... I'm a doctor I would know" He exhales deeply and smiles a little "did you see the press conference?"

She scoffs loudly and turned her face away from him "right before Jesse came in, yeah.. I still don't  think that was a smart idea... people know your name and they know we're together... they know your face and that you love me"

"Cait... just breathe okay?" She turns her face back to him "I was serious about us taking a break out of town..." she inhaled slowly her eyes trying to read his emotions.

"And I'm serious about you..." he gave a small smile then she touched his chin once "if you want to go out of town... just us then let's do it..." he grins ear to ear then she pulls him by his chin into a gentle kiss.

She sighs against his lips before kissing him again her hand moving to his neck, Barry sat up slightly to deepen the kiss again then Barry pulls back abruptly hearing heavy breathing.

Wally had stepped out into the hallway his hand clutching his shirt tightly.

"Hey, you okay?" Barry said as they quickly walked over to him.

"There's so much blood..." Wally whispers before he grips Barry's shirt now "she almost died..." he whispers again

"Is Jesse okay?" Caitlin asked worried now.

"They're both okay..." he said then he closed his eyes feeling the tears falling now.

Wally opens the door wide then he looked in at Jesse laying on the bed and holding the perfect baby in her arms, they finally looked at ease "Rosalie Taylor west..." he whispers to them.

"Awww" Caitlin whispers then she looks to Barry who was staring in awe at the child, the gears of her mind shifted a few times and she looks back to Wally.

"Dude congratulations..." he whispers then Wally shut the door again.

"I've never been so full of pride..." Wally says with a small grin.

"I just know I'm going to love Rosalie until the day I die" Caitlin hugs him tightly "you're going to be an amazing father..."

"Thank you, Caitlin" he hugs her back then he let her go and entered the hospital room again.

"Now what?" Caitlin said reaching for his hand.

"I'm thinking... Aruba" he smirks slowly his eyes looking to her. She raises her eyebrow as he guides her out of the hospital "Aruba it is..."
