When Barry arrived at the scene Lexi LaRoche was already there collecting samples and taking notes. He rolls his eyes lightly at the overly excited girl and adjusted his kit on his shoulder.

*Flashback* three nights ago

"Okay.. so what I did was I added a little bit more of the nitrogen components and then after it stopped fizzing the cure worked" Lexi explained as she and Barry stared at the clean sample.

"That's amazing!" He exclaims then he turns back to her "you're amazing!" He lifts her in a spur of the moment hug and she laughs her arms gripping his neck before he put her down.

She stares up at him then she leans up quickly to kiss him, he turns his head away and her lips grasped at Empty space " I uh should probably get back to my girlfriend..." he tried to make it obvious on the word girlfriend.

*end of flashback*

Lexi turned to greet him with an ear to ear grin "morning partner" he gave a desolate smile before lowering in a crouched position and snapping his gloves on.

He heard the gentle crunch of gravel as he started working then her voice. "Hey... so about the other night-"

" what about it?" He kept his voice bored, trying to show he had no romantic interest in her at all. "Uh.. I- I just don't want things to be weird that's all.."

" why would they? I love Caitlin" he looks up at her before he scraped a little bit of blood into a vial and stuffed it in his bag.

" well I- I just mean because I tried to kiss you... and you picked me up..." her voice continued and he sighs slowly then his brows furrowed as he watched the scales turn a beige skin tone. " wait what's happening?" He stood up slowly and she stops talking.

" get a camera, quickly" he orders and she pulls her phone out and aims it at king shark. She normally was a pretty great actress but she hadn't known debunking his powers would revert him back to human form in death, maybe in his rebirth but this was different...

Barry stares at king shark his mind racing over the disappearing scales and shark teeth shrinking, the size resetting to a man and even the ripped shorts were too big.

" even as a human he's huge..." joe said as he approached the scene. He slid his shades off and looked between Barry and LaRoche "so.. king shark escaped his giant prison... and was murdered..."

Barry nods a little then he closes his kit up and snapped the gloves off " if you don't mind me asking... where was king shark being held?" Lexi cut the camera off and she looks to Joe interested. He and Barry exchanged looks before Barry sighs a little "somewhere in Russia I think..." Joe is a terrible liar.

" bag him and let's go" Barry said then LaRoche nodded and waved someone over.

" I don't see why we can't just do gender neutral colors and pop a balloon with the ultrasound inside!" Jesse said angrily as they entered the cortex. Cisco looks up as well as Caitlin.

"Because, that's not how gender reveal parties work!" Wally responds in a just as annoyed voice "I don't see why we need one anyway-"

she turns around instantly and he bumps into her and her growing bump "Okay Okay.." he whispers in defeat then she sighs sharply and turns to face the two at the computer " where have you guys been?" Cisco said hesitantly.

He didn't want the angry mother to be to bite his head off " visiting Wally's friends from the future"

"I've already told you they are time travelers Jesse..." she rolls her eyes moving her strides back out to the hallway and he follows her still ranting "the legends are sometimes in the future and sometimes in the present-"

"I'll see it for myself when we see them!" She yells not hearing the irony in her words. They had already met the legends then Wally's voice could be heard still arguing.

Caitlin looks to Cisco slowly and they both burst out laughing at them. "Like a Married couple" Cisco wheezed out and Caitlin laughed again her hand lightly pushing him.

Her phone ringing interrupted their bonding. She checked the caller ID and practically went pale. "Uhm excuse me" she chokes out then she hops out of the chair and speed walks down the hall.

When she finally was far away she clicks the green button and put it to her ear " Stephanie.. I- I told you never to call again..." the person on the other side of the line-Stephanie. Spoke in excited whispers "s-she What?" Caitlin said with a small smile.

"I.. I wanna see her. Please" Stephanie said something again and Caitlin rolls her eyes " I know what I said dammit but-" Stephanie spoke again, yelling this time " fine... I will try to come this weekend..."

Stephanie thanked her, Caitlin hangs up and closes her eyes tightly. When she walks back to the cortex Cisco has his arms crossed a suspicious look on his face " who were you talking to?"

"Nobody" she quickly responds and cups the phone behind her back. His eyes flicker down then she looks away from him " you know I can just hack the satellite and check your phone records right?"

Her jaw gaps ajar in shock " you wouldn't dare..." he nods slowly " I most definitely would... are you cheating on Barry?" His voice was loud and defensive now.

"No! I-I would never do that!" She stares at him for a long time and he looks to his left then down at his shoes " are you.. are you afraid that I'm going to tell someone? Because I wouldn't.. I wouldn't break your trust Caitlin..." he looks back up at her seriousness written all over his face.

"I know you wouldn't tell anyone... not even Barry... right?" He nods quickly then she pulls her phone back out and scrolls to her gallery.

She clicks on a picture then she lifts it up to him, a young toddler stood in the grass a grin ear to ear and her short brown hair was being licked at by a puppy golden retriever.

"Aww.. who's this little thing? Your niece?" He looks at her his cheeks hurting from smiling so hard.

"No..." she whispers before swallowing thickly "my daughter..."
