"If I'm going to tell you how you ruined my life I have to start from the beginning.." Barry nods and he leaned against the wall. "Does me and iris having marriage problem effect you're life?"

Lucas scoffed " why would? Iris isn't my mother... I only refer to her as aunty Iris or as mom called her 'that bitch" both Barry and Lucas laughed at that then his face drops.

"If iris isn't your mom.... then who is?"

Lucas gave him a sideway glance then he shrugs " I don't know Barry, who else do you know that you've slept with?" Lucas crossed his arms a tempting smirk on his lips.

Barry had only been with three or four girls, all of them he used protection with except- "oh my god Patty?"He said extremely shocked, he wouldn't have minded if he did end up having a kid with Patty, she was amazing and so smart and not to mention beautiful, if he wasn't pretty into Caitlin he might've called her. Lucas laughed loudly and he shakes his head " who the hell is that?"

Barry sighed relieved then he shook his head realizing he was back at square one.

"God Barry!" Lucas exclaims amused "even with the fastest brain in the world you're still pretty slow..." Barry looks down hurt by this now.

"The president. Won the election by campaigning that he hated gay people... kind of like the president you have in this time period" Lucas motions to him with finger guns and Barry rolls his eyes "I know I obviously didn't vote for your president" Lucas nods.

"That's right, neither did mom... she's smart." He sounded prideful of his mother, whoever she was Lucas obviously favored her.

Barry nods along though he was still clueless on who she was.

"The short version of this story is, the president won and he started weeding out gay people, he made it illegal to be gay. So when I came out to you.... you yelled at me and you locked me up" Barry shakes his head twice " I would never do that. I would never abandon my son"

"But you did!" He hits the glass again and Barry sighs slowly " there are a hundred different ways you could've done it differently... you could've protected me- you're the flash for Christ sake!"

Barry looks away from him sighing slowly. He was the flash, he could've done something. He needed to see the situation first or stop his future self from handling it like this.

"But you chose the easiest way. You chose to lock me up, and leave me to over think things for years... you left me wondering why you didn't want me..." Barry shakes his head again " Lucas..-"

"That's not even the worst part dad. I waited for you.. to apologize or tell me that you loved me..." Barry looks at his face slowly and he saw that Lucas had teared up he took a slow breath looking away then back at him" But you didn't come.."

He stared at Barry for a long while then he wipes the tears from his cheek " that is the reason I want to destroy you, that is the reason why I hate you... because you broke my heart... you destroyed my concept of love" Barry shakes his head " no. I'm not giving up on you... I'm gonna fix this"

Barry unlocks the pipeline room and then Lucas looked around before he stepped out " what are you doing?"

"If you want to leave then leave but I'm not treating you like a prisoner and I'm not abandoning you... not again" Lucas looks him up and down and then he took a step towards Barry.

"I'm gonna make this right I promise you..." Lucas shook his head again then he sped out of the room leaving Barry alone.

He stood there glaring at the empty container then he sped to the cortex after collecting his thoughts. "Cisco, I need you to- oh my god!" He quickly turned around while Cynthia and Cisco made themselves presentable.

"You didn't see that" he said while pulling his pants up all the way. Cynthia stayed quiet as she fixed her shirt.

" well I have super speed so sadly I did.." he shook his head in disgust then he turns back to them fully. " I need you to help me vibe the future... I really messed up with Lucas"

"Uhh have you lost your mind? You know we can't mess with the timeline Barry."

"Cisco please, I don't want to ruin my sons life... and I- I can't wait years to be able to fix this!" Barry put his hands on his hips and Caitlin entered the room awkwardly with Iris who had her arms crossed.

"Iris, please talk some sense into your husband. He cannot travel to the future to stop whatever happens with Lucas!" Iris and Caitlin exchanged looks and then Iris sighs looking to Barry " why do you wanna go to the future? What happens to Lucas?"

"He said a homophobic president was elected and made it illegal to be gay. Then he told me that I locked him away when he turned thirteen because he was gay..." Caitlin furrows her brows while looking at him.

" why would you do that to him?" Barry shook his head while looking at her " I really think it was to protect him but there has to be another way, there has to be a way to prevent me from locking him up"

Barry Hated the fact that everyone was staring at him now. " look Barry, I understand the circumstances and the fact that it's not present day you... but I would love my kid if he wanted to be called ducky instead of his name.. or he decided that his gender identity wasn't defined by what he had between his legs.. you locking your son away is a bit extreme"

Cynthia nods a little then she looks back to Barry "I'm actively trying to stop this! I'm not this type of person!" He looks around the room at their faces. Mostly Caitlin since she was the one he most wanted to understand.

" I want to be a better father because of him!" Barry motions to the hallway though Lucas wasn't there "I don't know what my future holds but I want to fix this..." his voice went soft as he looked to Caitlin.

Caitlin nods a little and he sighs sharply before looking down and then back at her "let's do a little research before we go speeding into the time period we know nothing about"

" we?" Barry said hopeful and she nods. "You aren't doing this alone... I'll go with you"

He stares at her face prideful then he nods a little and looks to Cisco hopeful.

Gypsy sighs through her nose when Cisco nods "we can ask Gideon.. she responds to Barry Allen anyway" Barry grins ear to ear, the original team flash was back at it again.

"Alright, lets go talk to Gideon then.." he sped off to the hallway then Cisco looks to Caitlin a knowing look on his face. She usually loved the amount of communication they had between each other but right now she did not want to hear what he had to say.

She speed walks down the hallway to the secret lair the evil doctor Wells aka Eobard Thawne had hidden behind the wall.
