Happy birthday?

2 weeks later....

Barry sat at Jitters while Iris was writing about everything that went down with the power switch, she was sitting on the couch with her legs crossed at the knee.

Barry was sitting at a table looking for new job applications, much to his surprise he and Caitlin hadn't spoken since their argument.

He sighs deeply before lifting his cup again, he furrowed his dark brows since it was empty, yet again.

Iris looks over to him as he walked back to the counter to get a refill. "Another killer frost coming right up" the man said with a light chuckle "you must really like that drink, bro" he commented while handing the mug to a woman behind him.

" yeah... I really do.." Iris looks down while shaking her head slowly again, he couldn't even try and be subtle about it.

Barry takes the cup again and he sips the coffee, his eyes dart to the door as it opened then he nearly spat it out seeing Caitlin standing there with Cisco. She looked stunning as usual. Had the past two weeks she changed completely? Or had he just been blind to her beauty.

He sat his mug down on the table " Caitlin.." he starts to say in that gentle tone, he always reserved for her then Cisco pats her shoulder and  quietly ducked around Barry.

She wore some blue jeans and a sort of blue long sleeve shirt with a jean jacket on. "Barry..." her voice was distant again, something he hated between them.

" Caitlin look, I just wanted to say I'm sorry.." she nods a little and she looks back at his face " I know...me too" he gave a soft laugh and he steps closer.

"I know today's your birthday... um we could go out-" her cheeks flushed lightly, he remembered her birthday! Barry shakes his head "me you and Cisco I mean.. um" he scratched the back of his neck and she sighs " yeah.. that sounds fun, we could invite the whole team"

Barry gave a quick nod and then he puts his arms out while stepping closer "Sure, Yeah" she smiles then wraps her arms around his neck into a tight hug.

She hugged him back her hands holding his waist close, god she didn't even realize how much she missed his hugs "we really should hug more often" she said and he laughs a little before nodding and holding her tighter. He felt the exact same way.

Cisco smiles softly from where he stood by the counter then he paid for his drink and sat on the sofa near Iris " hey Cisco" She said before publishing the article. " hey... what's that?" He motions to the laptop curiously since she hadn't really touched a computer or mentioned writing since she and Barry had gotten married.

" oh, it's my blog about the power switch, I figured since Barry fired me from being team captain I should get back to writing..."she stated bitterly then he awkwardly sips his ice coffee, he leaned back watching as Barry and Caitlin both sat on the other sofa.

"So Iris, me and Caitlin-" her face drops and Cisco smirks to himself before Barry continued "- were talking about doing a birthday dinner for her later tonight..."

Iris looks to Caitlin who was staring at Barry, a loving expression on her face. "You think you wanna come for it? I'm gonna ask Wally,  Jesse and Harry" Cisco nods a little and he glances at Caitlin "I'll pass the message to Harry as soon as he gets back from earth two."

"Wait he's not back yet?" Caitlin said suspiciously and then Barry stops smiling as well "no? How long has it been?" The group went quiet and then Barry sat his mug down

"Cisco said he invited him to the party right? Have you talked to him since?" Cisco shook his head quickly and Caitlin looked to Barry worried now " Alright, Iris can you text Joe and have him meet us at star labs?"
