Aiyana walked into her house and walked straight upstairs to her father's room. Her parents shared the same house but not the same room. Aiyana remembered having a happy childhood. With her happy parents.

She did know when all of that had changed. When the two people who were so in love fell out of it. It started with the little things. It's always the little things.

When dad played unchained melody, he did not instantly swoop mom in his embrace and swayed with her slowly to the music. Eventually Sunday tradition of playing unchained melody as they sat together in the living room stopped.

Mom did not look at him the same way. There was no longer a spark in her eyes when daddy held her in his arms. She no longer cooked his favorite meals every Saturday with her own hands as dad would keep poking in just watching her sing and cook.

He no longer watched her with awe when she moved about the house. The flowers he bought her every week stopped.

And one day just like that, they weren't in love anymore. They slowly faded in front of Aiyana's eyes and she could not do anything about it. The worst was they never fought. They simply didn't care enough to scream. Ever.

Mom just packed her things and moved out of her room. She never left him nor divorced. They never fought for or with each other. They just stopped being mom and dad. And the worst was she don't even know why.

How can something so beautiful fade?

But they still cared, she knew they did. she knew it because they never moved on from each other or truly ever left. They never cheated.

So, when she walked into her father's room she did not expect what she saw.

she opened the door without knocking because she never did that. It's not like she was going to find someone there.

"Dad? I need you laptop for a while mine stopped working again. You really should buy me a new one"

But , she did. Aiyana saw a young woman draped around my father, naked.

Anger blazed into her stance as she ran away out of her house and into her car. Igniting the engine she sped away.

Why did he do this? We can never go back from this. They can never recover now. He ruined it. He ruined everything.

her heel pressed harder on the accelerator, as her anger gave way to recklessness. Driving straight to bar, Aiyana walked to the nearest stool that was empty.

"vodka cranberry please"

The bartender looks at her in surprise and serves her a drink after checking her Id. The tip of the triangular glass traces her lips as let the alcohol burn slowly through her throat.

She hears the familiar sound of my girl ring announcing the call being from her father. Aiyana swiftly cut the call, she can't talk to him right now. This will be the final nail to our broken family and she knew that.

Aiyana downed the drink quicker than she realize, following it with another.

By the time she had downed her second , she felt a little light headed. The reasonable part of brain told her to slow down. She was alone at a bar far away from home and if she continued at this rate she may not make it home. she should at least call someone to pick her up but then again all she had was Scarlett, Liam and mom right now. And she couldn't face or talk to anyone of them. she really should slow down so I can make it home. But, images of my father with another woman keep flashing in front of her eyes. She looked almost her age yet seemed to not hold a candle to my mother's beauty.
