Ethan's P.O.V.
"Roni please let me talk to her" I pleaded over and over through the phone.
"Its veronica to you" she sassily responds.
"Veronica, I fucked up and I know that so just let me talk to her please"
"She isn't here and even if she was, I would let her talk to you. You would have just insulted her again." she retorts back.
This girl is difficult how does Noah handle it.
"You know what just tell her to call me or something," I say loudly as I pace back and forward around my room.
"If I don't forget to tell her, I will." she scoffs.
I roll my eyes in annoyance and hear the line cut meaning she ended the call.
I have nowhere to go know. I called her, her house, Roni, everyone.
I don't know what else to do.
"Look at you." Grayson snickers at my state
"Not right now gray" I sigh and finally take a seat in the corner of my bed. I bury my face in my hands and nervously run my fingers through my hair. Tugging on it slightly as I let my frustration out.
"What did you do this time" Grayson crosses his arms in front of his chest and shakes his head.
"Nothing that concerns you" I look up at him feeling slightly irritated. Why can't he mind his own business?
"Well, it might Kayla called earlier and-" he smirks before I cut him off.
"She called! When? What did she say? Did she want to talk?" The instant he said her name and phone call I bombarded him with questions immediately. I needed to know exactly what she said.
"Chill dude I was joking, but from what I can tell you did something so terrible that she hates you for it." he lightly chuckles before talking in a more serious tone.
"Dude Wtf" I shove him by his chest and begin pacing back and forward again.
"Ethan we all know she doesn't hate you." he calmly speaks. "She just needs you to fight for her. She needs reassurance, that's all" he walks over to me and pats my shoulder in a comforting brotherly way.
"Easier said than done"
"Its worth a shot" he softly smiles.
I let a breath I been holding in escape before coming up with a plan to get her back.
Grayson stares at me for a couple of seconds before walking out the door feeling proud of the small pep talk he gave. He knows nothing about what happened which made it a whole lot harder to follow his advice.
It's best if it stays that way.

After thinking about this over and over again, I decided to go apologize, this time keeping my temper at bay.
I drive to her house and wait inside my car. She wasn't here like I had figured so I'm hoping it won't take long for her to be here.
I hope she doesn't take long because the longer I wait. The more my guilt eats me alive and I'm not very fond of it.
Kayla's P.O.V.
"Well if it isn't my favorite customer" Mason chuckles behind the barista table.
"I have only been in here once and I'm already your favorite customer" I softly smile hiding my real emotions behind it.
Mason looks at me and rolls his eyes in a joking manner before taking my order.
It's quite nice having a place to hide. Especially from Ethan.
Of course, he would call every one to ask where I was but I'm not telling them or answering his call.
I'm done and I meant it.
It's been problematic to talk about parties and everything related to them for a solid reason. He knows why. He knows it very well but ignores it all the time.
He is oblivious to the truth.
And I for one don't ever want to be part of that.
"Your coffee is going to get cold if you don't drink up" Mason mumbles bringing me back into my senses.
"I'm sorry" I apologetically smile before taking a sip of the plain black coffee I had just ordered.
"What's on your mind, Kayla? If you don't mind me asking?" Mason rests his elbow on the table and leans forward, resting his head on it.
"I don't mind at all... Its just.." I close my eyes and begin to think what it is I'm trying to say without including his name.
I don't think I will be able to say his name right now without crying.
"I'm stuck in a situation," I sigh. "And I have no idea what to do" I let my eyes wander down to the coffee mug as I move it around letting the liquid roam freely in the cup.
"Is it something bad?" he asks.
"I think it's bad but I'm not sure" I look up at him for a split second to realize the concern in his eyes.
"Is someone hurting you in any way?" he furrows his eyebrows and tries to keep cool for the time being.
I look back down at the cup of coffee and continue to mess around with it.
"What would you do if someone you like or someone your dating lies to you and even calls you 'clingy'?" I whisper just loud enough for him to hear.
"I advise you to forget or date someone else who sees your self worth because your a beautiful girl with complex features that only add to the amazing personality you have" he exaggerates. "If they truly love you as they say they do, they would know when to back off. They would tell you the truth right away if they want the relationship to continue flourishing because once that trust is gone it will be hard to get back"
It feels as if he knows something I don't because his words seem to have made an impact on me. But yet again it could just be the caffeine taking control of my body.
"You don't even know me and it's like you have known me for years." I chuckle.
"I can sense the type of person you are and I know you will do what your heart dictates but make sure you're also thinking things through. There are many things to come" he whispers to me.
I furrow my eyebrows and begin to wonder the meaning behind such wise words.
Many things to come?
Right when I built up the courage to ask him what that meant, the door opens.
A group of women enter the place and occupy Mason.
I guess I will have to figure it out.
