Kayla's P.O.V

I wasn't sure what I was feeling anymore. It was like my whole body was numb. I could feel everything and nothing at the same time.

He was expecting a child. A CHILD!

I just can't wrap my head around it. I'm not even sure how that happened.

If things were different if he- I don't even know honestly.

Right now I needed to focus on anything else.

The party was a good distraction.  I honestly didn't feel like drinking. I simply want a change in scenery.

"Kayla are you sure you don't want to stay home instead I mean we can go back and-" Roni begins to ramble on.

"No, I want to go enjoy the party. Let's go" I mumbled as I took off my seatbelt and headed out the door.

Roni sat there for a few more seconds hoping I would change my mind but when that didn't happen she decided to follow me.

Roni didn't say another word as we both walked along the sidewalk to the loud and busy house.

I was a bit nervous to go inside but I wasn't going to tell Roni that. Especially now.

I just want to get it out of my system I guess.

One last high school party well for me at least.

Walking inside the house made me feel queasy.

Seeing all these people getting drunk and sleeping with whoever they laid eyes on first made me realize how much I had grown.

Yes, that's what my life consisted of before but after settling down and dating one guy. I guess I finally understood what it was like to have an actual boyfriend.

It was nice knowing someone cared about you the same way you cared about them and I don't make you feel some type of way that words can't actually explain.

I understood what I meant to love someone.

It didn't go the way I planned but I'm glad I got to experience it.

"Everything okay?" Roni asked a fee minutes later while I stood near the kitchen.

I didn't even realize I was walking over there.

"Yeah I was just thinking." I shrugged. "Nothing too important. "

Roni looked a bit relieved but still concerned about me considering everything going on in my life.

"Don't worry about me, go find Noah I bet he's around here." I suggested.

"Well I don't want to leave you alone Kayla. So I-"

"I'll be here go on." I said trying my best to smile at her.

"I'll be back once I find him." Roni hurries off.

She worries too much for sure.

As I saw her walk away, I took the liberty to look for a water bottle in the refrigerator.

Luckily for me there was only one left.

"Kayla." I heard Kevin from behind me. "I'm surprised you're even here.Alone?"

"Wouldn't you want to know." I responded while taking a sip of water.

"Let me guess Ethan told you everything?" Kevin leaned against the fridge and waited for my response.

What did he mean by everything?

"You mean the part where he's expecting a child?" I asked.

I should of kept that to myself but at this point people would of found out sooner or later.

"Wow yeah didn't expect that one," he pauses.

Kevin is stunned by the news which means there's more that I don't know about.

"Kevin what has he not told me?" I ask taking a step closer to him.

"You'll know soon enough," he mumbled before walking away leaving me more confused than ever.

What does Kevin know that I don't?

Ethan's P.O.V

I didn't know what to do. 

What could I do. I couldn't go look for her and ask to talk to her because if I did I had to tell the truth.

There was no way out of this.

FUCKKKK

If only Grayson was here to help me decided on what to do but no he decided to go to that stupid party.

Maybe I should call her right.

As I took out my phone out my pocket my phone begins to ring.

"Grayson?"

"Ethan, Kaylas at the party this is your chance to talk. Get over here!" Grayson said immediately before ending the call.

Okay maybe this is my chance.

Before I know it, I made my way down to the car and drove over to Kevin's house.

Let's hope this ends well.
