Ethan's P.O.V
Today was finally the day I would be asking her out. Again.
Its been more than a few days without her and it feels like I've been lost her for longer than that.
I never truly realized how much I relied on her for everything till now. She was always there for me to talk really late at night or help me out with homework early in the morning or just to simply distract me with her mesmerizing beauty.
You forget how that stuff feels like after a while.
The first place I decided to checked was the patio and after looking around I didn't spot her anywhere. I slightly frowned and began looking for her around the halls.
She's probably by her locker.
I take a turn onto the hallway her locker is located to spot her next to the one and only fucking Kevin.
"Back off!" I angrily scream from behind them two.
Kayla quickly turns to look at me but my eyes are fixed on this fucking idiot.
Kevin looks unbothered by my presence and keeps a cynical smirk plastered on his face.
"You two are on a break don't get too prissy about it" he defends.
"Look"I get close enough to him and grab his collar pushing him against the lockers with force. "This will be my only warning, back the hell off!" I spoke through gritted teeth.
"Get off him" Kayla intervenes before Kevin has a chance to answer.
I let go of his collar and take a step back allowing him some space to walk off.
"See you around Kayla" Kevin scoffs before walking down the hall.
Right when I turn around I receive a intense glare from Kayla basically telling me she was pissed off.
"Look i-"
"Seriously Ethan what the fuck is wrong with you?" she practically screams.
"What did he tell you?" I panic.
For his sake i hope he knows how to keep his mouth shut.
"What was he supposed to tell me?" she raises an eyebrow and waits for me to respond.
I tug on the roots of my hair in a frustrated manner and consider my options here.
I could straight up admit my mistake or continue to lie to save my ass for a while longer.
"Nothing I just needed to know if he said anything." I sigh.
"Are you here to talk to me about Kevin or something else Ethan?" she retorts keeping her stance against me.
I guess that douche kept his mouth shut for once.
"Something else" I mumble letting my nerves relax for the time being.
I have time.
Kayla's P.O.V
"Go on" I persist hoping that everything between us will finally work its self out.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out Saturday?" he looked up to me with both excitement and nervousness shown in them.
I took a moment to think about it even though my mind was already made up before he even asked.
"Depends,is it a date?" I smile.
His eyes immediately lighten up and a smile forms on his lips.
"Its a date" he chuckles.
"Then yes" I tease and let a small laugh escape my lips.
"I'll pick you up then" he cheerfully explains while he walks away.
I nod my head yes and watch him take a turn.
Right when I was about to walk the opposite way I see his head pop back up.
"Pack a bag too" he advices.
I roll my eyes in a joking manner and see him laugh before finally leaving me on my own.
I guess I'm going on a date
