Kayla's P.O.V.
"You always order the same thing don't you," Mason teases while he hands me my drink
"Its the easiest one to make, you told me so." I chuckled and brought the cup near my lips to take a quick sip of it.
"It is, but you can order anything you want and I'll gladly make it for you, Kay." he charmingly smiled.
"I guess, but this ones my favourite." I pouted and continued taking small sips of my drink.
"You haven't tried the rest Kay. How do you know there isn't something better?" he questioned.
"You aren't wrong but I prefer keeping this as my usual." I raise my caffeined drink up and smile. "For example, I can continue to come in and say 'can I have my usual' and make everyone in here jealous that I have a usual and that you know what it is. It makes it special."
Masons eyes light up and his loving and adoring smile continues to stay on his face while hearing me speak. It's flattering to see my friend continues to be attentive to my weirdness.
"Your mind amazes me." he teases and lets a bit of laughter escape his lips.
"I have the mind of a master mind." I laugh along with him.
His laughter becomes louder and louder along with mine causing it to echo in the now empty coffee shop.
As our laughter subsides, my mind goes back to Rose's wedding which was only a few days away.
I for sure needed to ask Ethan if he was going to go. I mean he did go to that trip and all and our relationship is doing so much better.
"Thinking about something?" Mason caught me off guard.
"Oh," I awkwardly coughed. "I just remembered I have to go to some dress fitting and invite,well I guess not invite but remind Ethan that my cousins wedding is soon."
"How is he by the way?" Mason asks.
"Ethan is good. Our relationship is doing alright considering the whole trust issues in the past. I think I'm getting use to the idea that he really cares for me and that i shouldn't doubt it." I shrug.
"Well it's nice knowing you are going okay." he sighs.
"I wish I could take you to the wedding too so you would meet him and Ronnie to but it's last minute and I don't tbink-"
"Kay, it's fine. I just hope you enjoy yourself and take pictures for me."he chuckles.
"I will take millions of pictures and tell you all about it soon." I smile back at him.

After I left the coffee shop, I found myself driving to Ethan's house as I had promised him earlier that day.
I parked my car in his front of his house and scurried down the driveway up to his door.
I knocked lightly and waited for Ethan to open up.
"There's that beautiful girlfriend of mine,"Ethan smiled once he saw me standing at the door.
"Sorry it took me so long." I smiled and stepped inside pecking his lips.
"Your just in time." he smirks. "I set up a movie and snacks in my room."
Thoughtful of him to do so.
I took a step closer to him wrapping my arms around his waist As he engulfed me in a tight welcoming hug.
"We should go upstairs don't you think?" I look up at him and brush my lips against his.
"I mean we could." he chuckles and kisses my lips.
"Mhmm" i mumbled as our interlocked lips moved at a moderate pace.
"We should really go" I whispered once I pushed him back.
"Yeah in a bit" he connected his lips against mine again.
How can I deny his lips on mine.

"I wish we could just stay like this" I whispered against his chest.
"I missed laying on your chest, not arguing or fighting what so ever." I sighed.
"I missed us while we were fighting for that week or two." I admitted.
"I missed us too." he looked down at me and wrapped one hand around my waist to pull me closer to his chest.
"I missed you especially."He softly smiles and brings his other hand close to my cheek pushing a strand of my hair back.
His touch formed goosebumps along my skin a feeling that I had grown accustomed to.
His touch always has that same effect on me.
"Roses wedding is this weekend." I decided to say.
I had to tell him one way or another.
"Is it now?" he teases
"I know its soon for us but I want us to go together and I-" I began to ramble on as I rose from his chest.
"Kayla I want to go." he sits up a bit.
"Really?" I nervously ask while sitting up as well.
"Yeah" he softly chuckles.
"Noah and Roni are coming too just so you know." I smile as we both return to our previous state.
We both remain silent for a hit afterwards as he plays around with my hair and listen to the movie that continued to play.
"I love you okay" he mumbled.
"I know" I looked up at him and leaned in a bit forward to kiss his lips.
"I know" I reassured him before laying back on his chest.
