I gasped for air as I came back to my senses.

I was holding a stapler in one hand, the other had my arm wrapped around Dr.Harmon's neck.

I dropped the stapler before backing up with my hands in the air. "I- I'm so sorry Dr.Harmon." I apologized as he began coughing and gasping for air.

He shook his head, waving his hand to silence me. "It's okay Tate." He coughed. "I'm fine."

I felt my hands shaking as I looked down at them. I knew this was a bad idea. I knew letting him out would cause bad things to happen. I shouldn't have agreed to it.

"I think I found his trigger." Dr.Harmon said once he had caught his breath. "It's Sage."

"W-What?" I asked in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"He's obsessed with her." He answered. "Losing her could cost you to lose control.."

It had been about two weeks since my last session with Dr.Harmon.

I didn't want to go back there, not after what happened. I was afraid that if I even stepped foot back in that place something bad would happen.

Sage and I had a couple of weeks left of summer before we had to go back to school. We had been spending it inside mostly, which I was more than happy to do. I felt safest inside away from others.

"Tate can I talk to you about something?" Sage asked me softly.

I nodded. "What's up?"

I watched as she bit her lip, looking down at her hands.

"I'm late." She finally spoke, tears forming in her eyes.

"Late?" I looked at her confused. "What do you mean exactly?"

"My period." She answered. "My period is late."

"Oh.." I nodded. "Okay?"

She sighed as she looked deep within my eyes, "Tate. I-" She cut herself off as she held back from crying.

"I'm pregnant." She finished with a sigh.

My eyes grew wide as my heart fluttered.

"What? Really?" I asked, unsure if I heard her correctly.

She nodded, pulling a positive pregnancy test out from her bag, handing it to me.

A single tear slipped from my eye as I examined the stick; two thick red lines to signify a positive pregnancy.

I beamed, looking up at her, "So there's... going to be a baby in there?" I asked, motioning towards her stomach.

"Yeah."

I smiled at the thought.

I looked back down at the pregnancy test as more tears began to form in my eyes; tears of happiness and overwhelming joy. I couldn't be happier.

"I'm... I'm going to be a dad." I said under my breath as I looked up at her.

"You aren't mad?" Sage asked carefully.

I shook my head. "Sage, I'm going to be a dad!" I cheered, scooping her up in my arms. "I couldn't be happier."

"Tate, this isn't going to be easy, y'know." Sage stated as I kissed her cheek.

"Life isn't easy. But it's easier with you in it." I said, "Together we are going to give this baby a wonderful life."

Sage giggled as I began kissing her stomach.

"I love you, Tate." Sage said as she ran her fingers through my hair.

My head was laying on her lap as I faced her stomach, my imagination running wild about how cute Sage is going to look when she's farther along with her pregnancy, and how wonderful it's going to be raising a child with her.

"I love you too Sage." I smiled, "And I promise, I'll be here every single step of the way with you."
