The time was almost here. Anytime now I would go into labor, and I would finally be able to meet my beautiful baby girl, Indigo Renee Langdon.

As the time drew nearer, my mother and Tate decided that it would be a good idea for me to get out of the house more; to keep me from going insane.

Today I had gone to the grocery store to pick up a few things for dinner.

I pushed the shopping cart, scanning the aisles.

"Sage?" A familiar voice called.

I turned, curious to see who it may be.

My eyes grew wide at the sight of none other than Matty Healy.

"Matty?" I hesitated, not completely sure if my eyes had deceived me.

"Hey!" He smiled as he approached me. "How are you?"

"Fine...?"

"Good." He beamed. "How's the baby?" He asked, glancing at my stomach.

"She's good." I nodded, my hand instinctively reaching for the large bump.

"What's her name?" He asked.

"Indigo. Indigo Renee Langdon."

"That's a beautiful name."

I nodded.

It was awkward between us now, both standing there not knowing what to say next.

"How's, Tate?" Matty asked awkwardly.

"He's fine." I answered.

Matty nodded, hand reaching up to hold the back of his neck.

"Look, Sage, I just want to say that I'm really sorry about everything." He said. "I was a complete dick. You didn't deserve to be treated like that." He explained, "I've been horrible to you and Tate and it kills me."

"I just want to say that, I'm sorry." He sighed.

"I forgive you, Matty." I half smiled, still not completely comfortable being around him.

"Cool." He smiled with a nod. "I guess I'll see you around then?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

Matty gave me one last smile and a hug before walking away. For some reason Matty felt warmer. As if he really had changed. Maybe he was pretending, but it seemed so genuine; so believable.

I shook my head, deciding not to worry about it as I turned to make my way down the aisle.
