Some people say, "Fuck my life" because there phone ran out of battery in the middle of class. Some people say, "Fuck my life" because their boyfriend broke up with them. Some people say, "Fuck my life" because they accidentally sent out an embarrassing text.
"Fuck. My. Life." I speak into the phone while taking down posters from my wall. "Have I mentioned how much this sucks lately?" I tensely say to Taylor, accidentally stabbing my finger with a thumb tack.
"So you need to get out of there as soon as possible?"
"Pretty much." I throw my spider man poster off the edge of my bed.
"Well... I guess biking there in the morning won't be so bad... I haven't done jack shit since track, and cross country is coming up..."
"There you go, you've got a workout ahead of you." I joke.
"Are you ever going to tell me what happened?"
"When you get here I'll go into it." I throw another poster off the edge of my bed.
"Well hey... If you want me to be at your house so early in the morning, I'm going to have to go to bed now... If you have any problems you'll call me, won't you?"
Sighing, I bite my lip, "You know that I will."
"Okay... I'll text you until I'm asleep."
"Promise?" I push.
He laughs, "Promise... You know Rae, sometimes you're such a little kid."
"Right now, do you blame me?"
"Not really... Night."
"Night." I hang up the phone.
I look down at my floor and see the lake of posters just sitting there, calling out to me, "Take all of us with you! You spent your money on us! We'll look so great in your new room!"
"Damn I wish I could." I pout.
I put all of the loose tacks in a bag and throw them on the floor with all of the other loose possessions.
"Fuck my life." I mutter to myself before shutting my eyes and drifting to sleep.

"Things are going to be so much better there, RaeRae." Taylor whispers while crushing me in a hug.
"Mmm Mmmm Mmm Mm." I mumble into his chest.
"What was that? I couldn't understand what you were saying." He pulls back a little, but not enough for me to get any kind of words out.
"Could you mm mmmm mmm?" I try.
"Could I what?" He pulls back from me once again.
"Give me some room to breathe," I gasp.
Letting go of me and taking a step back from me, he blushes, "I'm sorry."
I laugh and start walking with him towards security in the airport.
"You really think things are going to be better?" I look up at him.
"Rae, do you really think that your dad would let you move there if things weren't going to be better?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Probably not..." I shrug and take a seat right next to where a TSA agent was standing.
"Just go with it." Taylor shrugs, sitting next to me.
I raise a questioning eyebrow at him, "Just go with it? I'm supposed to *just go* with moving across the country?"
"Well remember why you wanted to do this... You had some sort of a choice to go... You could have stayed with your mother..."
"And what? Get murdered in my sleep with nobody to hear me scream but her?" I widen my eyes at him, then look down at my hands that were sitting on my knees, "No thanks..."
He shrugs, gets up and stands over me, "Well Rae..." he puts his hands on my shoulders and looks down at me, "It's time to embrace your fate."
"I thought you didn't believe in fate?"
He thinks for a second before waving a dismissive hand in the air, "I don't, but that's beside the point."
"Comforting."
"Just... Do what you do best."
"What do I do best?"
"Fall... Forget stuff... Act blonde... Fall some mor-"
I interrupt him, "Okay, we get it."
I get up and look towards the TSA agent inspecting ID's and Passports.
"I guess we'll see each other later?" I half smile at Taylor.
"We will." Taylor smiles down at me.
I hug Taylor with everything that I can, before I'm made let go.
I start to walk away when I hear Taylor shout behind me, "Rae?"
"Yeah?"
"Give em' hell."
