Just a dream

It had been hours since Zane had left... I couldn't sleep.

All I could think about is Nash doing what he's done to Zane. How fucking could he? How could he be so heartless and terrible?

Maybe Nash should be my mom's new son... I'm sure my mother and him would get along just fine.

"Rae!" I hear somebody shout from my window.

That wasn't Nash's voice... It wasn't Zane's voice... It was a voice that I hadn't heard in days.

I get up and walk over to my bed, "Alexandria, what are you doing here?"

Alexandria pushes herself up and through my window, "I guess I'm just here to say hello."

"Okay, why are you really here? And while we're on the topic, why are so many people climbing in through my widow lately?"

I haven't had a regular nights sleep in weeks. Between Nash showing up, Zane showing up, Nash wanting to talk on the phone all the time... I haven't even had time to regulate my sleeping patterns. "If you're here to take me to another party where you ditch me and go fuck some guy, then I'm not interested." I look at her bitterly.

Alexandria narrows her eyes, "I didn't have sex with Clark."

I roll my eyes and step over to my vanity, "Sure you didn't." Wow... I'm starting to sound like Zane.

Alexandria walks over to the bench I'm sitting at and stands over me, "I thought you were like, on my side? You stood up for me in English..."

I look up at her sad blue eyes and feel like I'm being sucked into a portal... "I did that because it was the right thing to do..."

Alexandria gives me the puppy dog face, "Please don't be mad at me."

The puppy dog face has never worked before... But it's working now, weirdly enough.

"Fine."

Alexandria smiles and lays down on my bed, "I just need you to do one small favor for me, okay?"

I look over at Alexandria laying on my bed, "What?"

"My boyfriend saw Clark and I making out and now he says that we're over, but I really need him back."

Oh god... "So?"

"Do you think that you could help me get him back?"

Zane POV:

It had been hours since I left Rae's house... I couldn't sleep.

Nash had made up some bull shit excuse about staying over at a friend's house, and my parents wouldn't even look at me. They decided that they wanted to have a "date night" as soon as I walked into the house.

I'm sure they weren't on their way home anytime soon... If anything, they'll probably be staying at a hotel tonight.

I was laying on the couch, watching Saturday Night Live, when I heard a knock on the door.

"Maybe it's Rae! Maybe it's Rae!" My mind shouts at me.

I walk over to the door, open it, silently hoping that the beautiful girl as at the door, but low and behold, who do I see?

A skank. That's who I see.

"Hey baby." Alexandria steps into the threshold of the house, and puts her arms around me.

I keep my arms a safe distance away from her, "What are you doing here?"

Alexandria smiles at me, "I brought my friend here with me, I thought that I could make you feel better while she goes and does whatever with Nash."
