-Andrew-I cut a piece of paper and quickly wrote a simple question.
No this wasn't some class work, it was more like a question I wanted to clear up from my head. After I had conversed with Dalton I realized the difference in height, so naturally I began to feel self counscious about mine.I passed it to my friend beside me, I guess I could call her best friend. She has been in my life for a long time. More than I could even remember. She looked at me with a confused look, we hadn't talk by paper message in years. Maybe since we were in middle school.
She rapidly open the paper looking over the teacher hoping she wasn't looking at us. When it was safe to look she read the message and held a laugh in.
I guess it was true.
"Really?" She whispered loudly.
"Yes." I nodded.
"Well..." she trailed off.
"Oh fuck you." I sighed.
"You're a little short..." she crushed the piece of paper. Then looked back at me with a teasing smile.
"Thank you that's very kind." I answered sarcastically.
"You asked." she shrugged.
"No I didn't," I lied as if it would help trying to hide my embarrassment.
"It's literally written on the paper, am I short?" She said out loud. I whined at her voice.
"Why do you care though? You used to be to carefree about your height," she passed me the crushed paper.
"Just asking," I grabbed the paper and held it with my hands in shame.
"In middle of the class," before Noaomi could speak, Mrs.Green spoke over her, shooting us a deadly stare, I didn't a knowledge how loud our conversation had gotten until Mrs.Green caught us.
"Detention both of you!" she pointed her finger at us.
God dammit
"But-" I tried to reply.
"No but's I don't care, you'll both have detention today, no excuses."
The bell rang, meaning school was over for the day. Well at least not for us, we still had detention.I think it is truly a mindless fact that there is detention in college. I don't know what they were thinking.
...
I went to the detention room, when I got there I took a sit and took my phone out. I glanced at Noaomi, she was working on something in her laptop, I think it was her Chinese homework.
I looked up once again and I saw the guardian teacher leaving the room, without saying a single word. He was probably going to the restroom or maybe the teacher lounge.
I looked at Noaomi and smiled. "We're not leaving detention." she scoffed, not taking her eyes off the computer.
"I didn't say anything..." I bit my lips trying to fight back my smile.
"I know what you're thinking," she muttered sassily, the sound of the pencil scribbling down on the paper audiable.
I've been figured out.
"Shit." Noaomi say after a solid minute of silence. "What?" I asked curious, she stood up and took a small light pink package from a little bag that was inside her backpack.
"Tell the teacher when he comes back that I am in the ladies room" she said walking towards the door.
"Wait what? No don't leave me here. Can't you hold it?"
She stoped, she turned her body towards my direction. She smiled, looking like holding her laugh.
"I have blood coming out of my vagina, do you think I can hold that?" she said with a serious look on her face. This was normal for her, I was unknown to the topic so I just stayed quiet.
"Oh." it's all I manage to say, I felt the hot feeling of blush rising on my cheeks. "Alright, I'm out," she said and left. Leaving me alone.
Now my anxiety ate me alive thinking about who could come in the lecture room. It would be extremly awkward for me. I just want to leave already.
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard loud steps coming outside the room.
What the fuck
I saw the door handle moving, opening the door and revealing a tall figure. And shit I didn't expect him to be here.
He laughed, "Well well well, stalkers do get in trouble then?."
Of all people, why the hot one?
