-Andrew-I left the cinema, I was still feeling very shocked and a little shaky, I just didn't had in mind my best friend being with my chemistry teacher.
That's why I felt something was off. Something I somehow couldn't figure out, which is stupid now that I think about it cause, it was all so obvious.
Damn, I am stupid.
What pisses me off the most is that she was lying to me, lying to my face. She could've just tell me and this wouldn't have happen.
But still, she didn't, she decided to lie. Like I wasn't special to her. Like I meant nothing.
A couple minutes had passed when it suddenly started to rain.
"Great" I huffed embracing my jacket around my body.
I always get cold at the movie theater so I knew I would need a jacket.
I was getting close to my house when I felt a presence, not of a person, since I was the only one in the street walking, and there were just passing cars.
I heard the motor of a car approaching me, that's when I started to panick.
I've always been so anxious when it comes to being alone. A few cars passing by because of the rain wasn't helping my anxiety at all. The car got closer.
I could see the lights of the porch of my house, I was getting closer, I could just run. But the car would be faster.
So I just walked, trying to mind my own business and trying not to freak out.
"Stay calm, stay chill, stay calm..." I was reminding myself but then the sudden car, stopped.
Oh maybe their house is here
I thought but no, they kept walking towards my direction, then I heard loud and fast footsteps behind me as if they were following me.
Time to run.
And so I did, I ran so fast trying not to slip in the slippery wet floor, and trying my darn best not to scream.
Once I was at the front of my house I quickly took my keys and went inside shutting the door locked. My heart beating from all the running and from not being in shape.
"Mom I'm home!" I yelled.
"Oh great honey! Be nice and come on help me over yeah?"
"Yeah sure" I said walking to the kitchen awkwardly. She never puts the kitchen table all nice and fancy, she usually just put some plates to eat dinner and that's it. But guess today is not like always.
"Mom?" I slowly turn to her "Yes?" She smiled cutely at me "Are we having people over?" She claps her hands, and walks excited steps towards me, then places her hands in my shoulders.
"Oh yes honey! We sure are" her loose ponytail moves when she talks, like it has life of its own "Who? And why?"
"The Woodruffs are coming over! And I think you'll like it!" She said winking cheekily at me.
