This was crazy. You couldn't believe you were making such a big change in your life. All your things were packed and on their way to South Korea, leaving your apartment bare. You had two suitcases and a backpack prepared for the long plane ride ahead, your heart racing with both nervousness and excitement. This was actually about to happen. You were moving in with Jungkook.
You stepped out of the Uber and headed into the airport with your luggage in tow, heading towards baggage check and sending off your suitcases. You collected your backpack and proceeded towards your designated terminal. Just as you were about to board, your phone buzzed in your pocket. A smile pulled at your lips when you saw Jungkook's name and contact photo on your phone screen.
"Hey." You greeted cheerily. "Hey, honey. Have you boarded the plane yet?" It was so nice to hear his voice even though you'd just spoken to him a couple days ago and texted him last night. "I'm about to." "Ah good. I was hoping I wasn't too late. I just wanted to call and say I love you before you board." "You're so sweet." "I know." You spoke with Jungkook for a little while longer, keeping the conversation brief since you were on a schedule. He wished you a safe flight and you boarded the plane, getting situated in the seat you'd be in for the next hew hours. The emotions coursing through you were a mix of many, but they all were making your heart race. Just the thought of how much your life was about to change made you lightheaded, but not necessarily in a bad way. You thought a lot about the choice you made, taking a whole month to consider everything.
After hours of sitting on the plane and biding your time by napping and watching movies, you finally landed in Seoul. Shouldering your backpack, you made your way off the plane with the other passengers, heading straight to baggage claim where you waited for your luggage. People came and went, gathering their bags while you watched patiently, breathing a sigh of relief when your suitcases finally came rolling by on the moving belt. You pulled your bags off and rolled them outside where you booked an Uber. While waiting, you called Jungkook to let him know you'd arrived safely and were about to be on your way.
"I'm about to leave the airport. I'm waiting for an Uber now." Jungkook's excited giggles came through the receiver. "This is really happening, isn't it?" He asked. "It is. I still can't believe it." You sighed out in disbelief, gazing at the city just to make sure it was real. "I've visited before, but knowing my life will be here in another country is hard to wrap my mind around." "I hope you're not having any regrets." "Regrets? No. None at all. I thought long and hard about this and I'm certain that living with you is what I want." You couldn't see it, but Jungkook was grinning widely on the other end. "Oh, my ride is here." You announced, watching the Uber pulling up. "I'll see you in a little while." "Okay. I love you." "Love you too."
