Jin's trembling fingers straightened his bow tie for the fifth time in the last ten minutes. He was marrying you, the girl of his dreams, yet his hands were clammy and his heart was about to pound right out of his chest. Was he nervous? Did he have a case of pre-wedding jitters? Probably, but it wasn't because he didn't want to marry you, it was because he was the center of attention.
He stared down the aisle at the double doors at the back of the large venue, waiting for them to open. His gaze moved to the crowd, sweeping over the sizable sea of people, the familiar faces of both your friends and families standing out amongst the crowd. His eyes drifted over to his left to see his six best friend standing in a line with brilliant smiles on their faces. "You got this." Hoseok grinned, offering a supportive and reassuring thumbs up. "We're really happy for you, bro." Namjoon beamed. That was enough to ease Jin's nerves, a gentle smile spreading across his lips.
At that moment, the song you and Jin had chosen for the aisle walk began to play, making his heart race faster. He couldn't wait to see you. The doors opened and you stepped out into the large room with your (parental figure of choice) by your side. Jin felt like his knees were going to buckle the moment he saw you, the breath feeling as if it was knocked out of him by your presence alone. As you neared the altar, Jin's nerves melted away, the sight of you calming him instantly. A few moments later, you were right in front of him, looking like a goddess. Your hair and makeup were absolutely flawless and the dress you chose was so very you. "Wow." Jin whispered in awe. "You look stunning." "Thank you. You do too." You handed the bouquet to your maid of honor and faced Jin once again, looking utterly radiant. He reached out and took both your hands in his larger ones, his eyes meeting yours. "Are you ready?" He whispered. A bright smile appeared on your face, your stomach fluttering at the idea of what was about to happen. "I'm ready."
The man officiating the wedding began a rather moving speech about loving your partner before quoting a couple scriptures from the Bible. Jin could hardly focus because of you, your presence commanding all of his attention. He couldn't wait to make you his wife. He snapped back to reality when the officiator asked for the rings, which Jin promptly pulled out of his suit pocket. With a trembling hand, he slid the ring onto your finger, the diamond glimmering under the venue lights. In turn, you took his hand and placed his own ring onto his finger. He could see and feel the tremor in your hands as you did so, letting him know that you were a little nervous too.
"Kim Seokjin, do you take L/n F/n as your wife?" The officiator asked. "I do." Jin confirmed with glossy eyes, the tears suddenly welling up at the mere thought of being officially married to you in a few short moments. "And do you, L/n F/n, take Kim Seokjin as your husband?" You were close to tears as well, overwhelmed with love for the man in front of you. This all still felt like a dream even though you knew it was reality. "I do." You managed to respond, blinking away the moisture in your eyes. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
As soon as the words left his mouth, Jin pulled you close and kissed you, putting as much passion into it as he possibly could. You hummed dreamily, your hands moving up to lightly brush through his perfectly-styled hair. A few whistles could be heard from the crowd and Jin could hear Jungkook shout supportively from behind him, "Get it, hyung!"
That's what made Jin pull away, realizing he'd gotten a little carried away with the kiss, his ears burning with embarrassment. "Let's save all that for the honeymoon." You giggled, cupping his cheek. "Right." He smiled sheepishly. "I just love you so much. I can't help it." "I love you too, Jin." Upbeat music strutted to play and the both of you were pulled into a crushing group hug by the boys.
"Hey! Be careful with my wife!" Jin scolded. "Sorry. We're just so happy!" Taehyung giggled, pulling away. Jin received some playful hair ruffles from them, swatting their hands away. You chuckled amusedly, helping your new husband tidy it up. "So we can go eat now, right?" Jungkook asked. "I can't believe I just got married and all you can think about is food." Jin huffed dramatically. "I'm hungry." The youngest frowned. "Yes, it's time to eat." You cut in, giving Jungkook a pat on the back. "Let's go." "I'm excited for when the dancing starts." Hoseok commented, following the group out of the room.
At the reception hall, you and Jin cut into your beautiful wedding cake. You'd both agreed you wouldn't be doing any of the shoving it into each other's faces bit—you both looked way too good for that. After each of you prepared a plate, you took a seat at a large table with the boys and your bridesmaids.
Jin's gaze drifted to the gift table, sizing up the cluster of presents piled up. "You think someone got us a rice cooker?" He asked. "We already have a rice cooker." You responded, taking a bite of cake. "But we don't have a married rice cooker." "That doesn't even make sense." "Yes it does. We need two rice cookers so they can be married like us." He flashed a grin, making you roll your eyes and laugh. "Our Jin is a married man now." Yoongi said, giving him a firm smack on the back. "Yes I am. I bet you're all jealous." Jin puffed out his chest, smoothing his hair. "Don't worry, boys. You'll find someone someday." He received multiple eye rolls in response and a few breathy chuckles. You lightly smacked Jin on the arm. "Be nice." "I'm just teasing them—honey." Your cheeks were set ablaze at the sudden nickname, a faint grin tugging at your lips. Jin chuckled, his hand taking hold of yours. "I love you." He murmured. "I love you too."
