The sterile stench of the hospital filled your overly-sensitive nostrils as you moved hastily down the bright corridors, keeping your head low as nurses and visitors passed by. You were there for one thing and you wanted to get it and leave as quickly as possible.

You approached the reception area where a few nurses and hospital staff were lingering, answering phones or sorting paperwork.
"Can I help you?" One of the receptionists behind the large desk inquired politely.
"Yes, I'm here to see Doctor Kim."
"Do you have an appointment?"
"Not an official one. He's my friend, I just need to talk to him for a second." You responded, pulling anxiously on your sleeves at the thought of not being able to meet with him.
"I can't let you see him without an appointment, miss. I'm sorry."
"Please. It's important. I need to see him, just for a few minutes."
"I'm sorry, but—"
"Y/n, you're here."
You breathed a sigh of relief when you saw Jin making his way towards you.
"She's my friend, it's okay." He explained to the receptionist, who nodded in response.
You couldn't say you blamed her for denying your request to see Jin, she was just doing her job, but it certainly caused you momentary stress.

You were led back to a room you'd been in many times before, standing by the doorway as Jin went to a fridge that held what you came for.
"I was afraid that lady wouldn't let me see you. I was starting to worry." You admitted.
"I'll make sure to let her know that you can see me anytime." He assured, walking over with four blood bags in his hands. "This is all I can give you right now. Our blood supply is a little low and we need it for patients."
"That's okay. This'll be enough for a little while. Plus those patients need this more than I do." You unzipped your little backpack and dropped them into it.
"That's not true." Jin placed his hand on your shoulder. "Come back in a couple weeks and I'll be able to give you more."
You nodded and stepped forward to hug him.
"Thank you, Jin. I really appreciate you doing this for me all the time."
"It's not a problem at all." He smiled softly, giving you a gentle pat on the back. "I'm happy to help."
"You're a good friend."
"You are too." He pulled away, giving you a gentle smile. "I have to get back to work now, but I'll see you in a couple weeks."

You hiked your backpack strap further up your shoulder as you exited the hospital, relieved to have your next few meals in there. In all honesty, you'd probably be dead if you hadn't met Jin. A vampire like yourself was very lucky to have a guy like him in your life, someone to help you out.
You'd only met one other vampire since being turned and they told you there were special doctors working at the hospital that helped your kind. You were desperate, so you decided to stop by in hopes of finding some assistance.

You sat on the examination table, swinging your legs back and forth in an anxious manner as you waited. The door to the room opened and a man who you couldn't hardly believe was a doctor stepped inside. His features were sharp, his dark hair pushed back to further display his handsome face.
"Are you Y/n?"
You nodded.
He paused, his brown eyes scanning over you as his head cocked slightly to the side.
"You're a vampire, aren't you?"
Your heart plummeted to your feet. "W-What?"
"A newborn too." He surmised. "You must be scared."
"H-How did you know that?"
He chuckled lightly. "Your aura." He stated.
"My... aura?"
"I was born with the ability to see the auras of supernatural creatures. Your aura is light pink, so I can tell you're a newly-turned vampire."
All you could do was stare at him in bewilderment. That person was right about there being "special" doctors.
"I'm Doctor Kim Seokjin, but you can just call me Jin. Consider me your friend." He smiled warmly.
You cracked a faint smile, feeling some of your anxiety melt away.
"I'm guessing you need blood."
"Yes." You nodded, rubbing at your throat which had been dry for days.
Despite the agony you'd been in, you were too afraid to bite someone.
"I'll be right back." He announced and left the room.
