A well-known classic rock song filled the music store you and your friend Yoongi were in, your finger tapping rhythmically against the CD cases you were flicking through.

"Oh, this one is really good." Yoongi mentioned, picking up a hip-hop album, flipping it over to look at the track list. "I probably listened to this one a hundred times when I was in high school."
"Do you still have it?" You asked.
He pursed his lips and shook his head. "I got rid of it a few years back. Needed some extra cash."
You nodded in understanding, your eyes skimming over the many covers. "I sold some of mine too, just the ones I never listened to. I can't bear to part with the others even though I don't listen to them. They hold a lot of sentimental value."
Yoongi chuckled, finding it cute that you were emotionally attached to your CDs.
"It's a shame no one really buys them anymore. Everything is mostly digital."
"Yeah." You murmured in agreement. "It's convenient to have all your music digitally, but there's something about having a physical CD that's just different."
You and Yoongi often visited the music store, not because you wanted to buy CDs or records, but because you wanted to reminisce on the ones you'd already listened to.
You slid one of the plastic cases back into place on the shelf, Yoongi speaking up a second later.
"You wanna go and get something to eat at that food stand we like?" Yoongi asked.
"Ooh." You nodded eagerly. "You read my mind."

The both of you left the music shop and headed down the street to the stand, placing your orders, which were ready in a couple minutes. A tented food stall was set up beside the little eatery which you and Yoongi went to sit under. Instead of sitting across from you, he opted to sit beside you, a part of him wanting to be close.
As soon as you took the first bite of your food, you let out a blissful sigh.
"Ohh, I'm so glad we did this." You spoke while chewing. "This really hits the spot."
Yoongi smiled and nodded in agreement, shoving a sizable bite of his own order into his mouth.
"I really love your new hair color." You complimented, gazing over at his freshly-dyed mint hair. "It suits you."
"Thanks, babe." He grinned.
The nickname made your heart flutter despite the fact that he used it often.
"You should let me color your hair." Yoongi commented just a few seconds later, taking a sip of his drink.
"What?" You blinked in bewilderment.
"Yeah, like a fun color."
"What color would you have in mind?"
"I don't know. Purple, silver, lavender... maybe even mint?" He smirked at the last one.
"You mean like matching ones?"
He nodded.
"Okay." You agreed after only a moment of thinking it over. "Let's do it."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I need to be more spontaneous anyway. Should we go buy the hair color after we finish eating?"
He flashed a gummy grin, the thought that you'd be willing to match with him sent a strange sense of satisfaction through his veins. To anyone else, two people with dyed hair was nothing special, but for some reason, the thought of you and him getting your hair colored to match felt special to him, almost like you two were a couple.
"Okay." He responded with a nod, hoping you didn't see the tips of his ears turning pink. "We'll do that."
