The natural sounds of the water stirred you awake, pulling you from your peaceful rest. You sighed sleepily and started to roll over only to find that you were held snugly in place by something. Cracking your eyes open, you saw Yoongi's arm draped over your midsection and some of his tentacles had twisted their way around your tail during his slumber. You always found his clinginess adorable, letting out a silent chuckle as you turned to face him.
"Yoongi." You whispered out.
He didn't move, the grip of sleep too strong at the moment.
"Yoongi." You repeated, poking his cheek lightly.
He pouted faintly and furrowed his brows as he stirred.
"Five more minutes, darling." He grumbled, his arms and tentacles tightening around your body to pull you closer.
"We have to get up."
"I don't want to."
You sighed and gave him a quick kiss on the lips, pulling away only to be jerked back to him. A chuckle vibrated against his lips as you returned the gesture, your hand coming to rest against his cheek, giving in and staying there for a moment longer.
"Okay. Now that I've had my good morning kiss I think I can get up now." He grinned when you pulled away.
"Yoongi." You shoved him lightly.
He just laughed in response, releasing you so the both of you could get out of bed.

You and Yoongi had been living together for eight years. After dating for a few years you tied the knot and not long after had two beautiful children; Pearl and Kai.

Pearl had her dad's white hair and dark tentacles while Kai had your hair color and mermaid tail. Despite both your traits being split between the two, they both inherited their father's magical abilities, making them part sea witch. One could imagine Yoongi's excitement when he would try to teach them how to make potions and cast spells.
Pearl and Kai were only six and you were constantly telling Yoongi that they're both too young for that, but he always said, "You gotta start training them young."

"Good morning, sleepyheads." Yoongi greeted as the two of them sluggishly made their way into the kitchen after being woken up moments before. "You ready for breakfast?"
At the mention of breakfast, their faces lit up.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" They chanted excitedly, taking their seats at the kitchen table while you and Yoongi worked to prepare breakfast.
He used his powers to create a fire while you began prepping.
While you gathered ingredients, you felt a pair of arms slide around your waist from behind, a grin creeping onto your face. Yoongi's head rested on your shoulder, his lips leaving light kisses along your neck.
"Yoongi." You chided while giggling. "I'm trying to cook."
"I know."
"Pearl and Kai are right there." You whispered.
"So?" He chuckled.
You sighed begrudgingly and shook your head, allowing him to cling to you while you cooked.

Once finished, you plated the food and Yoongi carried them to the table, using his tentacles to do so, having no issue whatsoever holding four plates and sets of silverware.
"Show off." You muttered, causing him to laugh.
"Not my fault you only have two arms." He snickered, swimming back over to the cooking area to hug you, his hands sneakily creeping around your waist.
"I love you so much." He whispered into your ear.
"I love you too."
"I'm glad you followed me around so much and helped me open up. I didn't know how much I needed you in my life."
"Aw." You cooed, your heart filling with warmth at his loving words. "I didn't know you were a softie."
"Only for the people I love."
You chuckled amusedly and went back to tidying up the small mess made on the coral countertops from preparing breakfast.

One of Yoongi's hands left your waist, gently grabbing your chin, forcing you to turn it towards him. You could tell just by the look in his brown eyes what he wanted, a small grin tugging at your lips as you got the message. He started closing the gap between your mouths, his gaze dropping down to his intended target. His soft lips landed on yours, staying in place for a moment before slowly dragging against them. A soft sigh expelled from your mouth between kisses, your eyes fluttering shut, momentarily forgetting where you were.

"Ew! Mommy and daddy are kissing!" Pearl squealed from the dining table.
Kai made dramatic gagging sounds in response, causing you and Yoongi to pull away laughing at their theatrics.
"Listen here, some day you're gonna find someone you love so much and you're gonna wanna kiss them all the time." Yoongi told the two.
"Ew! No way." Kai pulled a face of disgust, crossing his arms in defiance.
"Yep. Right on the mouth." Yoongi added with a sly grin, loving to tease them.
"Boys have cooties." Pearl cringed.
"Boys do not have cooties, girls do!" Kai argued.
"Hey, hey, hey. No one has cooties." You spoke up in an attempt to de-escalate the argument. "There's no such thing. Eat your breakfast, okay?"
"Yes, mommy." They both mumbled and continued eating.
"You're such a good mom." Yoongi murmured lowly, kissing your cheek.
"Well, you're such a good dad."
"I wouldn't be a good dad if it weren't for you."
"Why?"
"You keep me in line and make sure I'm up when you get up so we can cook breakfast and take care of the kids."
"In other words, I'm keeping this family together?"
Yoongi snorted. "Yeah, I suppose you are. You're what keeps everything from falling apart."
Your posture straightened pridefully at his praise.
"I love you so much." He whispered, going in for a kiss.
You pressed a finger to his lips, halting his actions. "Ah, ah, ah. Not here. We already kissed in front of the kids once. Plus, breakfast is going to get cold." You spoke teasingly, swimming out of his grip.
He chuckled and shook his head, following you to the table, making a mental note to steal another kiss from you once the both of you were finally alone.

A few people thought Kai was Hueningkai but I honestly just looked up ocean-related names. Pearl was a cute name and Kai is Hawaiian for sea so that's what I chose

This was shorter than part 1 because I'm not into the having kids trope 😬 it's not something I enjoy writing, so I hope it was written decently
