"Fear can keep a man out of danger but courage only can support him in it." - Thomas Fuller

Third P.O.V

After two more hours of walking and a lot more cursing from Silas, the two finally seemed to reach their destination. And it did not look welcoming.

"Lovely isn't it?" Silas commented on the dark forest before them, a stark contrast to the lush greenery they were walking on only an hour ago.

Reynah rolled her eyes and continued walking deeper into the forest.

"What did you expect Kilentra Forest to look like, it's in vampire territory be it an empty one." Reynah said amused at Silas' frustrated face.

They continued walking for another 30 minutes before Silas decided to take a break.

"Is it just me or are we walking in circles?" Reynah asked following the gamma's actions and she too plopped herself down.

"Is that even a question, I think I've seen that dead rat 4 times by now."

Reynah didn't even want to look. As she stared at the slowly darkening skies she concluded that Kilentra Forest was not the hideout. As she was about to suggest to go home, Silas beat her to it.

"What's that?"

Reynah looked to where Silas was pointed to, the faint but present red light was enough to make her shoot up from her seating position.

"Only one way to find out." And with that Silas and Reynah with new found energy followed the lure of the light.

Finally getting closer to the source, the werewolves realised it was a tiny camera. Within seconds Silas crushed it easily with his fingers.

"What did you do that for?!"

"We don't need anyone knowing we're here, that is if they don't know already" Silas reasoned silencing Reynah.

They both looked around for anything suspicious, or literally anything at all. Nothing.

"I don't get it, why would there be a camera here when there's literally nothing to record." Frustrated with getting nowhere, Reynah paced around and with that Silas immediately picked up on something.

"Wait. Do you hear that? You're not stepping on grass..." Silas quickly walked over to where Reynah was and bent down to shift the dried leaves and mud away. Right below them was wood.

"...someone's hiding something below us."

Silas continued shoving dirt and leaves, everything that obscured the hidden door below them. Once Reynah saw what Silas was doing her eyes widened and she quickly started helping him.

A few minutes later, both their gazes were directed at the wooden door that lay flat, what was inside was a mystery that was sealed by the silver lock that chained the doors together.

Reynah started looking around for a rock or anything that they could smash the lock with. Finally spotting one, she quickly picked it up and raised her arm to shatter the lock. Before the rock came hurtling down, Silas' grip on her wrist stopped her.

Reynah looked questioningly at him.

"I'm not so sure about this anymore. If you're right then whatever is down there can't be good, we should come back with Alessio and more warriors." Silas commented.

Reynah wasn't stupid, she knew what lay below those doors was anything but pretty but it was too late now.

"The camera already caught us, what if by the time we come back with everyone this place will be empty of whatever's inside. We need to do it now, at least while the sun is still out."
