Third POV
After everyone was taken care of in the infirmary, Alessio took Reynah's hand in his and led her to the room they shared.
Once they were both inside, Alessio turned the lights on and closed the door. Slowly he made his way over to Reynah, a dark aura surrounding him.
Reynah slowly backed away with each intimidating step he took, and soon enough she was right against the wall. Trapped.
"A-Alessio, I reek of disinfectant and blood right now; you probably don't want to come near me right now." Reynah said, waving her hands in front of her body to try and put some distance between herself and Alessio.
Alessio did not seem to hear her attempt of a warning and suddenly had her caged against the wall, each of his arms right above her head.
"A-Alessio..."
They stayed in that position for a few moments, Reynah didn't make an attempt to free herself; she was frozen in her spot staring at Alessio's darkening eyes trying very hard not to think about how he was still shirtless.
"Why must you make me worry so much?" Alessio asked as he slowly leaned his head down to her surprised face, he missed her lips entirely which she did not expect and instead rested his forehead on the wall right beside Reynah's head.
Reynah blinked a few times to grasp what Alessio had just said and when she understood, she relaxed her rigid figure.
She leaned her head against his shoulder and softly responded in an inaudible voice but Alessio had no trouble hearing her.
"I'm sorry..." Reynah slowly wrapped her arms around Alessio's torso causing the same sparks to spread across their skin when they first met.
Alessio took his hands off the wall and held Reynah in his arms, completely engulfing her in his large arms; protecting her from anything or anyone who thought they could take her away from him.
"At least you're safe." Alessio stated, his voice much softer as he kissed Reynah's head.
Reynah squirmed in his hold and reluctantly Alessio released her.
"I'm was being serious before though, I smell disgusting." Reynah said putting some distance between them.
Alessio scoffed but nonetheless gave his mate some space.
"You smell like lavender to me." Alessio bluntly stated and a small blush rose to Reynah's cheeks
"I'm going to have a shower."
Reynah took some clothes from the drawer and scurried towards the bathroom, locking the door in the process. While Reynah was in the shower, Alessio grabbed another pair of boxers he would wear to sleep.
Soon enough Reynah came out of the shower in a matching pair of purple shorts and a loose t-shirt and her hair was still slightly damp. Alessio shamelessly ran his eyes over her figure.
"Eyes up here buddy." Reynah called out as he shook his head to get rid of his previous thoughts.
"I'm gonna take a cold shower. Don't leave this room while I'm gone."
"But I want to go check up on Jade." Reynah rebutted not noticing Alessio's restlessness.
As the words left her lips, Reynah swore that his eyes turned a few shades darker.
"Well unless you want to get spanked, then be my guest." He smirked teasingly.
Reynah choked on her own saliva at his words and went into a coughing fit, her face turning red.
"I'm just kidding love..unless you want me to?" A wolfish grin replacing Alessio's infamous smirk.
With a flushed face, Reynah shoved Alessio out of the room and threw her towel at him when she heard him laughing.
"Get out and shower, you dog!" Reynah shut the door quickly leaving no time for Alessio to reply, Reynah leaned against the wall and tried to calm her raging heartbeat silently praying to the Moon Goddess that Alessio didn't notice how fast her heart was beating.
After she was certain that her mate had left, Reynah moved her position from the door and instead went to take a seat on the couch, on the way she grabbed a book to keep her entertained while she waited for Alessio to finish his shower.

Alessio walked back towards to his room, drying his wet hair with the towel in his right hand. He was already thinking of something to say to make his mate blush again, the red hue and her wide eyes were a sight to behold and he desired to see what other reactions he could incite from her with his teasing remarks.
"Am I decent enough for you n-" The sight of his sleeping mate made him shut his mouth before he could finish his sentence.
In an attempt to be quiet, Alessio slowly walked towards Reynah's sleeping figure. She was still sitting on the couch but her head was lying on the armrest, using one arm as a pillow.
Alessio glanced at the book lying on the floor before gently picking up his mate and held her bridal style. A ghost of a smile appeared on Alessio's face as Reynah unconsciously buried her face in his neck, her touch shooting sparks up his spine.
He swiftly walked towards their bed and carefully placed his mate on the bed before covering her with a blanket to which she shifted to a sideways sleeping position. Not long after Alessio joined her in the bed and wrapped one of his arms around Reynah's waist and pulled her closer to him so that her back was against his chest.
"Goodnight, mi amor." Alessio whispered planting a soft kiss on the top of Reynah's head before he too fell asleep with his happiness in his arms.
