Alessio's eyes darkened and a low growl escaped his mouth, he roughly gripped her waist and forced his mate onto his lap.
"I dare you to finish that sentence"

THIRD PERSON'S POV
Alessio ran his fingers through his hair in frustration, throwing his phone harshly on the table as he ended the call with Dimitri.
"13 werewolves and 7 vampires. That's all that were found in the cave. That number is too small to compensate for the werewolves that have disappeared." Alessio muttered, his tone harsh.
Ryker stood up, pacing back and forth.
After Alessio had left Reynah, he headed towards his office. Ryker and the head warrior of the pack, Frazer, were already in the room when he arrived.
"I just got off the phone with Dimitri, his vampires don't remember a single detail about the bastards who've been taking our kind either." Alessio informed the two.
Frazer sighed, "The interrogation went on for five hours, but the only sufficient piece of information we have on the perpetrator is the smell of valerian. I looked into it and it's a herb that was used during ancient times to lull the injured into a heavy sleep to alleviate them from any pain. My guess is that whoever we're trying to find used it to knock the victims out, possibly even cause them to lose their memory."
"Okay I think our best bet is to-"
A ringing filled the room, the sound abruptly ending as Alessio picked up his phone. After a moment, Alessio ended the call as a small growl emitted from him.
"Who was that?" Ryker questioned.
"Alpha Lumero, he just informed me that another cave was found near his own territory. A few of our werewolves have been recovered. Frazer, call a couple of guards to go fetch them."
"Yes sir."
"Don't you think it seems a bit weird how easily everyone are finding these caves? Months of searching revealed nothing of importance, but in a matter of days already two caves have been located."
"What are you alluding to Alessio?"
Alessio didn't respond, deep in thought.
REYNAH'S POV
"-And then she fell into the lake!" Jade snorted as I laughed at the story of Aspen of when she was younger.
"That was one time!" Aspen shrieked as she smacked Jade with a pillow. We all began to laugh hysterically as Aspen glanced towards her digital clock, and pulled herself off of the bed.
"Oh guys come on! I need your help to pick out a dress for my date tonight," Aspen almost yelled, pulling Reynah and Jade up.
"A date? You're only fifteen." I said.
"Well you're the one who's hanging out with fifteen year olds, so I wouldn't be talking."
"Touché. Well I'm off to find some friends of my own age, clearly I'm not wanted here," I say as I make my way towards the door, pretending to sob.
Aspen laughed "You know I didn't mean it like that Reynah, but I do think you need to get out there more, you can't hide from the pack forever."
"I'm not hiding," I argue.
"Name one member of the pack, besides Margareth, Jade and my brother who you're friends with"
"Jimmy."
"Who the fuck is Jimmy?" Alessio snarls as he walked into the room, alongside Ryker.
Ignoring Alessio's obvious possessiveness, I make my way over to Ryker.
"Ryker, can we be friends?"
"What?"
"So it's a yes? See Aspen, I have other friends." I stated, putting an arm over Ryker's shoulders in a friendly manner.
Aspen rolled her eyes before Alessio firmly gripped my waist, pulling me towards him causing me to remove my hand from Ryker's shoulder and instead collide with Alessio's chest.
Alessio walks me out of the room, but not before I say my final words.
"Bye Ryker, i'll see you soon my good ol' friend" I shouted, laughing to myself.
"You sure do love messing with me don't you love" Alessio said
By this point we were in our room, and before I knew it, the door was shut closed and Alessio had me pinned against the wall, holding my hands tightly above my head.
I was startled with the impact "Aless-
I let out a small gasp as his lips made contact with my neck, leaving a trail of open-mouthed kisses, before gently biting down on my skin. I moaned softly, before biting my lip in embarrassment. I could feel Alessio smile against my skin before he wrapped his hand around my neck, pulling me into a rough kiss.
"Alessio" I moaned as I grasped his hair, pulling it gently.
Alessio gripped my thighs before picking me up, causing my legs to wrap around his torso. He left my lips, going back to my neck. I shut my mouth, trying to prevent any more embarrassing noises from leaving me. Alessio pulled away and instead chose to slowly massage my thighs.
He leaned in whispering into my ear, "So Jimmy huh?"
"Who?" I hummed.
"That's what I thought." Alessio replied, kissing her cheek.
