This is one of my projects for Open Novella 2019. The rest of Shiro's unit ends up dying including Adam, yet the reason why he didn't go is a mystery yet there is suspicion turned onto him and his family despite the fact he is grieving for Adam. He in turn ends up running into his neighbors before he knows they're neighbors, yet Keith starts making friends for once only for things to fall apart because of otherworldly things.
