Jieun and Jackson had moved out of your apartment the next day itself. It was for the better. Now they were unpacking everything. But things between them wasn't going well after the trip.

Jackson felt that Jieun had gone overboard with her words towards you.

He wished that he had said something for you that day, but he didn't want to look like he was going against his girlfriend either.

The reason he left you was in no way your fault. It was entirely his fault. In fact it was the exact opposite of what Jieun had said. He didn't deserve you. You had always been so understanding and caring of him and always helping him out. But you were too perfect and that scared him. He couldn't stop thinking whether he was giving enough for the relationship. He was too afraid of hurting you. And this paranoia turned into an insecurity.

He then started looking for little faults in you. So that he could convince himself that he was doing great in the relationship. But he couldn't. In his eyes, you were perfect. Too perfect. This was something that always remained as a concern for him.

He was fine with being like this, until he met Jieun. He knew him and Jieun wasn't right. But being with Jieun, he felt that whatever he was contributing to the relationship was more than enough. Because Jieun herself didn't care much about the relationship. Jieun wasn't perfect, just like him. And that's what Jackson wanted.

So ultimately you and Jackson did not work out, not because you did not give enough but because he did not want that much.

Even when the relationship ended you were so understanding and forgiving, it made Jackson feel so guilty. Sometimes Jackson panicked whether he had done the right thing in leaving you, but then he quickly pushed it down because he didn't want to think about it much.

He sighed earning Jieun's attention.

Jieun realized Jackson was off the entire day. She could somewhat guess the reason as well.

“What?”

“Ani. It's nothing.” He said but did not stop there. “Don't you think you said a bit too much to Y/N?”

Jieun, herself knew, that she spoke too much that day. She did not mean to hurt her sister like that. But she ended up saying things in the heat of the moment and ended up regretting it the second after. But she was too proud to admit that she was wrong.

“Really? I just said the truth.” Too proud.

Jackson fell silent for a moment. Then he said, “Sometimes I don't understand you, Jieun.”

“What do you mean?” Jieun pretended to be innocent.

“We both know what you said to her isn't true?” Jackson was irritated now.

“So then why did you leave her?” Jieun asked.

“Because she was perfect.” He quickly blurted out.

“Excuse me. She's perfect? And I am not.” Jieun felt her heart break to pieces.

Jackson knew that he screwed up bad.“Jieun-ah that's not what I meant.”

“You're such an asshole.” She quickly stood up and got out of their new apartment.

********
Ever since she was small, Jieun always knew she was like a showpiece. Everybody wanted her when they first saw her, but nobody wanted her after that. All of them only wanted you. Every one. Every single one of them.

Like Mark, from high school. Jieun had lied to everyone that they broke up because her parents broke them up. But the real reason was that Mark wasn't interested in her anymore. He said he liked you. She told him that you didn't like him and you were not allowed to date anyone either.

Like Namjoon. She had met him first for a project for her music class. He helped her compose such fine music. Along with his music, she fell in love with the man he was. But to him, she was just another one of those singers whom he worked with. But Jieun hoped that with time she could change his mind. But that hope was lost when you came into the picture, Namjoon was smitten by you. You, being the ignorant fool you are, of course didn't notice it. But Jieun knew that the more close you and Namjoon got, the more farther she became.

After Namjoon, Jieun thought about letting everything go and concentrating on her career. She came to Seoul. She did not even visit you when you were in Seoul during the first few months because she was too scared of coming across Namjoon. She wanted to get over Namjoon so that you and Namjoon can be happy together.

She eventually did get over him only to find that you had been dating Jackson. This triggered her. How could you be so stupid and be so oblivious to realize about Namjoon's feelings. You kept saying he's gay, because you wanted him to be. Because you were too selfish to date Jackson.

Meeting Jackson and the things that happened after that wasn't intentional at all. Jieun didn't expect to end up with Jackson at all. But she knew nobody will believe her if she told them. Jackson was pretty much her type alright. But she never intended to date her sister's boyfriend. That wasn't her character.

But she did. Maybe it was the way Jackson looked at her sometimes. Maybe it was the awkward tension between them. Something made Jieun think that Jackson wanted her. And Jieun was more than overjoyed. Because finally someone chose her over you. Someone wanted her even after knowing you and so Jieun jumped into it happily.

And when you caught them cheating, Jieun was ecstatic. She didn't have to pretend anymore. She might look like a bad sister but she knew you or so she thought. She thought that you would get over it in a few days. After all, you had so many other people for you. Afterall, she only had Jackson. They were perfect for each other. Or that's what Jieun thought till now.

After Jieun started openly dating Jackson, life wasn't as rosy as she imagined it to be. She could see how her boyfriend still cared for his ex. She hated this fact. Even such a simple thing as him pronouncing your name set her off, because she knew there was always some part of his heart that you still occupied. And she was scared whether he would leave her for you like everybody else. But she pretended that everything about them was perfect. But then Jackson's words made her come back to reality.

“Because she was perfect.”

Wow.

Jieun finally realized that Jackson wanted her not because he actually wanted her but because of you. Because he felt he wasn't enough for you. Jackson used Jieun as a rebound from you.

Even the one person, whom she thought wanted her, finally chose you.

YOU….

Everybody wanted you. Why? Because you were perfect. Nobody wanted her. She had no one.

You.…  everybody.....
Mark, Namjoon, Jackson… and now even ….

She suddenly took out her phone and texted someone.

‘Hey, are you free? I wanna talk. Meet me at….’
