Oliver's Pov

I kept my glare hard on the television screen as jake ran to get a new pair of wheels for his board and I stayed alone at the Perry's house. Amber and Max went out to the park about an hour ago, and seems Max forgot something here.

the door opened as I looked revealing the one jerk I was waiting for. He ignored me running around the kitchen and upstairs, I tossed the item in my hands he was looking for.

"So maxwell." I said loudly, he peered down the staircase glaring.

"Don't call me that, gimme my phone." he said reaching out for it, I clasped my fist around it.

"Who's Anna buddy?" I asked.

"shes just a friend whys that any of your damn business Oliver." He glared, I stood up.

"Bullshit." I seethed as he kept his glare.

"You don't know anything."

"Really that's why she answered asking for you and when your coming home to see her." I asked "So what is she your side chick? your fuck buddy?" I asked, he dropped his glare knowing I caught him, I scoffed.

"You are a fucking dick dude." I said, he stood up straighter.

"What the hell is that suppose to mean I'm the dick? you were always a dick to amber."

"I didn't cheat on her, did i? none the less were we even together." I partially lied.

"Shut the fuck up oliver, why are you answering my phone anyway? no one asked you to do anything." he exclaimed.

"Maybe cause she called repeatedly, and obviously I would be a nice guy and answer for you but interrupted your little scandal here, trying to pull two girls at once? you fucking disgust me." I said as I dropped his phone on the floor and walked away from him.

"Stay away from amber, I think it's best if you go home." I said glaring, he picked up his phone and rolled his eyes.

"Like ambers going to believe you anyway. Amber and I weren't even together anyway, it doesn't matter." He chuckled slightly, I glared and let out a fake laugh too.

"You know what? you are right! You guys weren't together that's why she felt no mercy when we made out the other day while she was 'at work'. you are right my friend no worries." I said and watched his face pale as I walked out the door slamming it as I felt it was a cold night outside as I got into my car turning on the heat slightly, I drove down the road to the park as I pulled into the grass seeing amber sitting in the picnic table I kept my car on as I got out, my anger slightly still pumping at the fact Max was such a dick, I walked to amber my hands in my hoodies pocket as she sat on the table staring at the water.

"I knew it was never going to work out." She said softly, I sat beside her on the table as she kept her eyes on the horizon. "I knew he was going to leave me here in the cold, alone." She chuckled darkly, I sighed as she sniffled slightly. "I guess I'm used to it, being left alone." she paused looking at me with her watery eyes. "I'm just hoping you won't do it to me." she almost whispered, I felt my stomach sink at her sad posture and puppy eyes, I pulled her into my arms.

"Never." I whispered as she hugged me tightly her head stuffed into my neck, we sat in silence for longer than ever, and eventually it got cold we got into my car.

"He wasn't worth it amber." I said softly rubbing her hand gently that was in mine. I looked at her as she turned to me and smiled.

"I don't know why I'm crying." She paused laughing softly. "I like you more than him." she laughed out, I felt a confidence boost as the words left her mouth, she glanced at me as she laughed softly again.
