“Carla?”

No answer.

“Carla, why won’t you talk to me?”

She gave me a look that said, “You know you hurt my feelings, so why ask?”.

“What did I do!? I don’t understand?!”

At this she rolled her eyes at me.

Right about now, me and Carla were having math class. All through the period she ignored me. Not to mention she ignored me when I tried to talk to her this morning in the hall. I wanted to ask her what happened after the Halloween party, because I couldn’t find her after half an hour so I gave up. She never answered her phone after ten calls anyways. Ethan dropped me off at Aunt Jade’s house. So, I guess Ethan practically knew where I was crashing for now.

“Hey, I tried my best to find you at the Halloween party! I understand if that’s what your mad at me for” I argued, understandingly.

Carla gave me a look of disbelief. Like I had said something out of this world.

“Tell me what I did wrong, Carla! I can’t be friends with you if you’re mad at me!” I argued getting impatent.

Then and there the bell rang signaling for lunch.

“Figure it out, Daisy. Maybe I don’t want to be your friend. Have you thought about that?” Carla said to me harshly, as she walked out of the room with her books.

Ouch. What did I do to deserve that? Finally I found a girl willing to be my friend and now the idea was shattered in the next second.

I sighed having a heavy heart, walking through the halls to get to lunch. But first, I needed to out some stuff away in my locker.

Blonde hair and blue eyes stung my gaze as I made my way to my locker.

“Hey, Ethan”

“Don’t ‘hey Ethan’ me” Ethan said annoyed with crossed arms.

“Not you too” I said grumpily.

What was wrong with people and them hating me today?!

“Oh, yes me too- wait. What’s that suppose to mean?” Ethan scowled.

“I mean it seems everyone’s hating me today” I groaned.
