You know why I woke up with a smile this morning?
It wasn’t because it was Friday. That was only part of it.
Today, Keith was finally out of my sight till another lifetime. Today, 2 weeks were: OVER!
I ran out my room after changing for the morning. I ran right into Keith’s room, bargaining in like a crazy woman.
I saw the room illuminated with sunlight from outside. OR at least tried to illuminate. The curtains were closed. And I helped open them.
“Get up my idiot ex-boyfriend! Mama’s gonna pick you up and drive you away for good!” I yelled into his ear.
He looked like a kid who was having a good dream and then realized reality. He rolled around in his sheet groaning.
“Go away! Just five more minutes” he mumbled pulling his face into the pillow.
“Alrighty, then” I said giving his temple a slap. “I’ll help you pack up then!” I clapped my hands in pleasure. “I’ve got 15 minutes to pass before I have to leave for school anyways” I shrugged.
I walked over to his draws and picked up a hand load of clothes, which were shirts and threw them into the garbage bag I brought from the kitchen. He was lucky the garbage bag was clean and not used yet.
“Daisy? Oh, Daisy no!” Keith complained getting out of bed with only blue sweats on. Yup, shirtless, awesome… not.
“No, It’s fine! Your the guest right? So let me help you pack up your junk!” I smiled at him in a mocking manner.
He gave a sigh. “I don’t need you help” he saidi grumpily, grabbing the bag from my hands. “I’ll be done before you know it” he said pushing me towards the door. “Don’t want you to be late for school, right?” he questioned, sarcastically.
“Right” I muttered rolling my eyes.
I walked to the door, and caught a glimpse of Keith’s phone on the nightstand. I had a brilliant plan. And Keith's back to me was just perfect.
I tip-toed toward Keith’s phone and snatched it in my grasp, smirking evilly.
“Hey! I saw that!” Keith walked to my direction with his hand stretched out signaling to have the phone back.
“Catch me first, loser!” I yelled as I leaped out of his room and bolted down the stairs.
I heard a large sigh from the top of the stairs, but I already swung the doors opened. So here was the plan. I needed to destroy something Keith loved. His phone. Simple as that. What could destroy a phone? WATER! There was a small bird bath around the corner of Aunt Jade’s home. I just needed Keith witnessing my evil actions and I had to witness Keith’s eyes of pity and sadness. I needed to kick this boy’s butt for playing dumb with me.
