The past couple of days (wasn’t it 5 days?) were silent and lonely. It seemed that Ethan was in fact mad at me and wouldn’t forgive me.
Was that even a move available to play at this point?
I mean, wasn’t it fair telling Ethan that I wanted to take things slow, not to rush into things? But I guess Ethan’s player temper got the best of him.
‘Ring’
It signalled that break time was in process. Only two more periods until I could go home.
“Daisy!” Carla called my name in contempt.
“Hey, what’s up Carla?” I managed to put up a small smile as I approached her in the hallway.
“Daisy, I’ve got one question and one question. Are you shy around guys?” she asked.
I gave a crazy funny look. “What? Are you okay, Carla?” I asked. “Did you bump your head?”
“I’m seriously Daisy!” she gave me a playful light smack on the arm, “Answer me!” she demanded.
“Um, no” I said uneasy. I had a weird feeling Carla was planning something I wasn’t gonna like. But none the less I could tell off any boy that got in my way. I was a tomboy, not a girlie girl.
“Greaaaaaat!” Carla clapped her hands in delight.
“Why’s that?” I asked curious.
“How about you meet me in the court field outside after school?!” Carla squealed.
“Do I have to?” I groaned.
“I’ll drag you myself” she warned.

I dreadfully had to follow Carla to the court field outside the school, when she caught me in the hallway.
“What are you up to Carla?” I asked untrustingly.
“I just wanna spend time with my bestie. That’s all” she defended, innocently.
“The last time we tried to spend time, you ended up hating me” I teased remembering Halloween.
“But look at us now! I’m in a relationship, and I love ya like a sister. Exactly my point why we are going to play soccer!” she pointed at the court field that had Ethan and Logan looking at their phones, sitting in the middle of the soccer field.
