*1 new message from Carla*

I wiped away the tear I had rolling down my face. It was useless to cry while packing up for tomorrow. It wasn't going to change the fact I was leaving another home town to spend time with my mom since forever.

I read Carla's message:

'OMG DAISY! UR LEAVING?! WITHOUT TELLING ME ANYTHING?! '

If it wasn't for Ethan telling Logan, and Logan telling Carla with his big mouth, she would have never guessed!

'Girl, I need to see you before you leave! A.S.A.P! How about in half an hour at the park?'

I texted her back right away:

'Aright, meet u there in a few. We'll talk there'

What was I going to say to her now? Break down in a puddle of tears? Tell her how sorry I am that I wasn't going to see her probably NEVER again?

Damn, my girl emotions and over thinking reflexes.

**Half An Hour Later**

"OMG DAISY!!!" Carla was already running to me, from her seat on the swing after she spotted me. Her arms wrapped around my arms in a warm tight embrace.

"I'm sorry Carla" I sounded like I was on the verge of tears again.

"Why didn't you tell me? Why are you leaving me? Did I do something wrong? Omg, I'll fix it if I did! I'll stop dating Logan, if that's the problem!" she rambled her mixed thoughts.

I couldn't help but laugh at her. See, I was gonna miss these conversations.

"No, it's not you. I swear" I gave another chuckle.

"So then?" she asked, eager to understand.

"It's my mom" I confessed.

"Your mom? I thought you weren't gonna see each other for the rest of the 11th grade" her eyebrows creased in confusion.

"Yea, that was the game plan, but she recently finished her sanctuary project and... she wants to spend time with me, I guess" I shrugged refusing to tear up.

"Oh, honey" Carla embraced me in another hug. "But how come you didn't wanna tell me, if you knew you were moving away from here, for good?" she asked.

"I didn't wanna think of it as a goodbye. I wanna believe there's still hope we'll still see each other! ... I didn't wanna cry" I sniffled a cry. My head was starting to form a minor headache.
