‘When are you coming back? I miss ya.. Remember that chocolate factory we always went on valentine’s day? Geez, it’ll be different this year’
‘Lol. I miss ya too buddy. I hope you enjoy the factory for the both of us! Wish I was there with you. Enjoy Valentine;s day! Like every other year, we were each other's Valentine!’
I ruffled my wet hair with the towel then checked the time. 7:50. Sh!t. I needed to be in school in 10 minutes!

After first period I had to go to my locker to change some books for class. I frowned at the card, small chocolate sticking out in a red wrapper and a rose that was waiting for me, taped to my locker.
My heart swelled at the choice of chocolate. Whoever left this knew I loved Kitkat bars. Damn, them. Then this meant, it could only be one person. I pulled off the red and white colored note and opened it to read:
‘Today’s Valentine’s day, so I ask… will you be my Valentine?
Puppy dog eyes,
Ethan’
Ethan? Well, he knew a lot of things about me. Like my favorite chocolate and my favorite flower, roses. I smelled the flower which gave off scent of heaven. I opened my locker and exchanged books into my bag then closed the locker door.
“Sh!t” I muttered, when a body was close to mine. And hands covered my eyes.
“Ethan, go away” I sighed, in annoyance.
“Ethan?” the hands disappeared from my eyes. “Last time I checked, I don’t have blonde hair. Maybe its the eyes, that have you confused?”
I turned around to looked at the guy with a smile. “Hey, Caleb. Happy Valentine’s day” I smiled at him.
“That’s my name! And happy Valentine’s day to you!” he gave a side smile. “What’cha got there?” he pointed at the rose and card in my hands.
“Ethan’s valentine’s day gift to me. That’s why I thought you were Ethan” I explained.
“Oh, well he sure is getting mushy with you. This time of year, Ethan would be having his day planned out with… valentine dates” Caleb informed me.
“Really” I raised an eyebrow sceptical. “And why are you here? Are you going to get mushy with girls too?” I mocked him.
