“Ethan! Stop!” I scolded him as he tried once more to tickle me.

I was trying to message Reuben. Trying to have a conversation about how he spent his christmas.

But no! Aunt Jade was like: “Ethan why wait for Daisy down here when she’s in her room? Just leave the door open!”

I internally wanted to roll my eyes and hide under a rock.

“Stop messaging strangers when I’m right here to keep you company!” Ethan responded as he tickled me at my sides.

“Ha! - No! - Stop!” I gasped for air as I dropped my phone and rolled around the sheets in a laughing fit, trying to get away from him.

“This is what you get when you won’t give me attention, Daisy!” Ethan yelled in a mocking manner.

“Say: Ethan is my lover!” he added.

“N-o!” I laughed, trying to push him away.

“Fine you leave me no choice” he said tickling me under my chin, sides and under my arms.

“St-op!” I tried to scream but I could only laugh.

“You know what to do” Ethan mocked with a smirk.

“Eth-an!” I tried my best to scream.

He gave a sharp inhale. “Stop calling my name princess. You know I only like it heard when the door is closed” Ethan tormented me.

I slapped him, as he tackled me with more tickling. “You a$$!” I choked out.

“Only if you beg, maybe I won’t refrain from thinking about your small @$$” Ethan laughed.

I had enough with his dumb talk, “Fine! Ethan… is … my… L-L-L”

I couldn’t even say it, even in a joking manner. It just sounded wrong.

“Ethan is your what?” he tickled me some more as he pinned my arms above me, sitting on my thighs as I layed on the bed.

I couldn’t look at his eyes when they were so close. I looked at the wall to my left, mumbling the magic words.

“Ethan -inhale, exhale- is my -inhale, exhale- l-l-lover” I said the last part in defeat and whisper.

*Knock at the front bedroom door*

“My, I think I should come another time” said a male voice.

My whole body tensed at the position I was in, when this voice spoke.
