"Guys I think it's time to go home. Look the sky's dark" I commented.

"Yeah, I agree with Daisy" Ethan supported.

"Dude, if Daisy said: Ethan go outside naked, you'd probably do it!" Logan jested in amusement.

I let a laugh slip my lips.

Carla slapped Logan across the arm.

"Hey, it's true!" Logan defended.

"C'mon Daisy, I'll walk you home" Ethan gave Logan a scowl look.

I hastily got up from the grass and walked after Ethan saying bye to the both of them.

"That was fun" Ethan let out a sigh in content.

"Yeah. It's been a long time since I played soccer" I agreed.

"Remember the first time we played it together?" he asked with a side smile.

I thought for a moment recalling moments with Ethan. "Oh, wasn't that the way we started being friends?" I asked with a smile.

"Yup. In those days you couldn't kick far. I remember getting frustrated with you and yelling at you" he chuckled embarrassed.

I laughed along with him. "Yeah, I remember. And I use to yell at you back complaining I was a girl" I recalled giggling.

He nodded laughing harder. "Man, those days were awesome" he looked at the horizon.

I sobered my smile as I thought of the last time I saw him. It was just a couple of days. But Ethan seemed he forgot about it.

Ethan laid on the grass in front of aunt Jade's house. "Look, I'm sorry I lashed out on you at the cafeteria the other day" he said looking up at the stars.

It was awkward trying to talk to someone that wasn't your level, so I laid on the cool crisp grass, next to him.

"It's fine. I'm sorry that I acted like a coward" I said feeling prone. I hated regretting things.

"The stars look, nice tonight" he moved on, looking thoughtful.

"The darkness make the stars look brighter" I agreed.

"But of all stars, your eyes twinkle the brightest" he muttered, rolling over his side to get a better view of me.

"Huh?"

"Okay, I know that you're afraid of committing into a relationship-"
