Later that afternoon, they arrived at John's house. "Hey, Mama." John mumbled, walking into the kitchen, Alex following behind.

"Hey, baby. Is Alex staying with us?" She asked, earning a nod. "Alright, that's fine. I'm just going to order pizza's for dinner tonight so I'll just order one for you two and bring it upstairs."

"Thank you, Mrs. Laurens." Alexander said, walking to the fridge and grabbing a water. "Thank you." John said, giving her a hug. He loved his mom. His dad was a different story but he loved his mom.

John and Alex walked upstairs to John's room, throwing their stuff down and sitting on the bed.

"Dude..." Alex said, laying down on the bed.

"What?" John asked, moving so he could see Alexander's face.

"Maria left James. Like dropped him." He said, smiling a bit.

John was very glad she left him, knowing it was a bad relationship in the first place though he was a little upset, thinking Alex would try to date her.

Him and Maria dated before she got with James and broke up because, as Alex explained it, "they weren't a good match."

"Are you going to try to get back with her?" John asked, not meaning to be so blunt.

Alex chuckled a bit and sat up, shaking his head. "No, Jack. Been there, done that." He said, holding himself up on his elbows.

John nodded a bit and looked down, messing with the ends of his shirt. "I need to finish turning in my scholarship applications," he mumbled.

Alexander laughed a bit. "Then do it. I don't know what I'll do without you in college."

John nodded a sighed. "I just wish I could go to school for art or biology." He frowned. "But that's life and it'll be okay." He said, standing up.

Alexander frowned a bit. "I'm sure you'll still be great at law." He said, sighing quietly. He knew John's dad was making him do law. He was here when they had that argument. He knew their relationship wasn't great. He also knew it upset John, even if he wouldn't say it.

He knew a lot of things upset John.

But John never liked to talk about how he was feeling so Alexander wouldn't pressure him. He was sure John would talk to him if he wanted to.

John just shrugged again and grabbed his remote, sitting by Alex on his bed. "Wanna watch The Office?" He asked, turning the television on and going to Netflix.

Alexander shook his head and took the remote from John, who furrowed his eyebrows in response.

Alexander set the remote down and sat in front of John. "Have you ever had sex?" He asked bluntly.

John was slightly taken a back by this. "Wha-Why?" He asked. "Please just answer-" Alexander said gently.

John sighed a bit and looked down, shaking his head, obviously embarrassed.

Alexander shook his head and gently grabbed John's chin so he would look at him. "It's okay, it's nothing to ashamed of." He said gently.

John's cheeks were a bright pink now. "Why did you ask?" He asked gently.

"Well- I..." Alexander sighed and let go of John's chin. "I've been questioning and I really want to experiment with someone." He said quickly.

John nodded a bit. "Well, who were you thinking of? I know Hercules May be up to it. Or maybe even Thomas. I know he frustrates you but he ma-" he said before being cut off by Alexander laughing.

"No, John. I want to with you." He said with a smile. John's cheeks were a bright red now, clearly flustered by that. "O-Oh-" He stuttered. Just the thought of sleeping with Alexander made him feel giddy.

"Only if you want to though. If not I can find someone else." Alexander added quickly.

John shook his head. "No, no... I'll do it. W-We can do that." He said, smiling a bit to Alexander.

Alexander gave John a smile. "Thank you, Jack. We can do it right now, if you're up to it." He hummed.

John shook his head. "No, but later tonight. I don't want anyone to walk in on us." He said, biting his lip.

Alexander nodded. "Understandable." He said before laying down on the bed and turning on Netflix. "Now we can watch The Office." He said.

And later that night, Alexander has sex with his best friend.

John has sex with his crush.

And they both agreed to do it again.
