John sat in his car and waited on Alex. He was ecstatic but also very anxious.

He planned to tell Alex about his feelings tonight.

His talk with Lafayette really inspired him to so he told him self he would tonight and he wasn't backing down.

Alexander got in the car and John smiled brightly to him.

"Hey, Alex!" John chirped, buckling up and starting the car.

Alex gave a dumb smile and leaned back in his seat. "Hey, Jack! Guess what?" He asked, buckling up.

John began to drive and hummed. "What?" He asked.

"I asked out Jefferson." Alex replied, clearly happy by the tone in his voice.

John's mood immediately crashed down and he felt like he would throw up.

"Oh..." John said quietly, feeling his eyes water.

Don't cry yet. Don't cry yet. Don't cry yet. He thought

"Yeah! And he said yes. We are going on a date after the football game Friday so you don't have to pick me up. And I'll just stay at home I guess." Alexander hummed, clearly happy by this.

John nodded a bit and put on a smile, even if he was hurting. "Well, I'm glad you're happy." He mumbled.

Alex nodded a bit. "I really am." He said with a happy sigh, but then went serious. "But you know this means we have to stop sleeping together, right?" He said

John nodded a bit. "I figured that." He said before pulling up to Alexander's house. "I'll see you tomorrow." He said sadly.

Alex didn't seem to notice, giving John a quick hug. "I'll see you tomorrow." He said before grabbing his back pack and walking to his house, going inside.

John drove off, crying immediately. He sobbed as he drove, pulling over to an empty parking lot. He let out a scream, banging his head on the steering wheel.

John couldn't calm down. It felt like someone had took his heart out of his chest. It felt like his whole world was a storm. He felt like his stomach was exploding and his head with it.

He sat there for about an hour, just sobbing, before his phone began to ring. He looked at the contact and wiped his eyes, answering it.

"Hello?" He asked, sniffling a bit.

"Oh, mon petit tortue. I heard about what happened." Lafayette said through the phone.

"Are you Alright?" He added, frowning. He knew this had to hurt John.

John shook his head and sobbed. "No! It hurts so much!" He cried, sobbing more.

"Oh, mon ami." Lafayette whispered

John shook his head and sobbed. "He hated him a week ago! I don't understand!" He cried harder.

Lafayette frowned more. "I know, I know but it'll be okay, I promise. I'm sure this won't last. The two despised each other." He mumbled. He really didn't understand how they started dating. It seemed unreal.

John just shook his head. "I don't know what I'm going to do..." he mumbled, sniffling again.

"Just breath. Why don't you go home. Take a nice, warm bath. And don't come to school tomorrow. Sleep in and focus on yourself. It'll be alright." Lafayette said gently.

"Thank you." John said, wiping his eyes. "I need to start driving home though. I've been sitting in an empty parking lot for a while now." He said

Lafayette nodded. "You do that. Feel better soon, petit tortue." He said before hanging up.

John sat his phone down and leaned back in his seat.

He then started to drive home.

Once he got home, he went straight to his room and texted Alex.

{Won't be at school tomorrow. You've got to find another ride.}

He set his phone down and looked up at his roof, sighing.

Everything was falling Apart.
