Zoya reached home, and walked straight to the living room and sat on the floor, throwing her bag behind on the bed.

She was still in the impact of meeting Aadhya in the hospital, and was highly disturbed with it. She recalled that slight peck given by Aadhya on her cheek, and she placed her hand on her cheek and had tears on her eyes.

It might have been just an ordinary moment, but for Zoya, it meant a lot. She was one such mother, who didn't even get to touch or feel her baby. And this gesture by little Aadhya, rekindled the longing mother in her.

Zoya stood up and walked to the wardrobe and opened the middle door. She pulled out all the dresses from the middle shelf, and then took out a white zipper bag. Taking it, she went and sat at the balcony.

She opened the bag and took out a paper and looked at it. Below the paper, it was written 'positive'.

She looked at that and remembered the day when she got to know that major truth in her life. This news gave her happiness and pain in the same amount. Happiness, that she was pregnant with the love child of her and Aditya; and pain, that Aditya wasn't in her life for her to share that news with him, and how she couldn't see his reaction on such an overwhelming news.

She still remembers how Waseem forced her to abort that child, since she was getting divorced from Aditya, and that child in her life at that point would not be a wise move. She never agreed to it, and was adamant in giving birth to that child, as that child had nothing to do with her divorce with Aditya, and killing that innocent life for that issue was a heinous crime.

She kept the paper aside, and took out a hospital file. She opened that and saw the scan reports and ultrasound records of the baby. She had a painful smile while she looked at the baby's structure on that film. She remembered how the doctor had warned her of complications in the pregnancy, and how it might turn fatal for Zoya's life too. Zoya was ready to take up the risk, as she had nothing more to lose in her life. She took up so many risks and pains to give birth to that baby, only to lose it forever.

She opened the bag and took out the toys, doll, baby socks and baby kit which she had bought for her child. She looked at it and cried, "You could have at least come and seen what all your mom got for you, right? Am I such a bad person, that you didn't even want to see my face?"

Zoya cried as she kept the toys against her chest, "You know how much pain I went through to give birth to you? Along with the pain I was facing with the separation of your father, I made sure that I bring you to this world and give you the best I can...but...but you just left...why baby??"

Zoya smiled, as she cried, "Today when that little kid kissed me, you know how much she reminded me of you? You too would have kissed me like that right? You too would have looked like her right? And you know...you know what her name was?"

Zoya looked at the small doll and said, "Her name was Aadhya. It was that name which Adi and I wanted to give our child, if it was a girl. Adi always said, that the baby which is a part of us both, will have a name which is a part of us too ..." Zoya chuckled, amidst her tears, "Aditya and Zoya's Aadhya...it was supposed to be your name...but today when I saw that child...in your same age, with that same name...it just wrenched my heart."

Zoya closed her eyes and cried, wondering why her life was such a tough ride these days. Life was so beautiful when she went to London for her studies. She had the best time of her life. She met Aditya, fell in love with him, married him and they had a great time for 2 years. But since the day her marriage ended, life has never been easy. It has only had pain, pain and more pain.

Zoya felt a hand on her shoulder, and she opened her eyes and quickly wiped her tears. She put all the stuff back in the bag, and stammered, "I was just..." Zoya looked up and said with a stunned look, "Yash?"
