Aditya's Zoya or Yash Arora's fiancée?

Zoya herself didn't know the answer to that question. Why did she want to shift to his house? Why does she want to know if there is something more to what happened between her and Aditya, years back? What's the use of knowing of all these now? She is engaged to Yash Arora, and it's been 3 years since Aditya and she had been divorced. Yet why? Does Aditya's question lead to all the answers above?

Aditya tapped Zoya's hand with his finger; with the same hand he was holding Zoya's hand, while Zoya looked at him; his eyes still expecting an answer. Those eyes intimidated her and made her feel weak. She quickly moved back from him, pulling her hand from his hold.

Aditya looked at her tensed face, while Zoya uttered, "I...I don't know...what you are asking...I have to leave!!"

Zoya walked to the door, while Aditya leaned along the table and looked at the engagement ring in his palm. He smiled and said in a tone in which she could hear, "You could have said for a lie at least...that you came as Yash Arora's fiancée, but you didn't!"

Zoya stopped opening the door half way and was taken aback hearing that.

Exactly. Why didn't I say that?

Zoya's mind was totally in a mess, as she turned towards Aditya. Aditya looked at her with a smile and showed the ring to her, "Leaving this precious engagement ring of yours once again to me, pretty much explains why you didn't say that!"

She didn't want to stand there any longer, and she went to Aditya and snatched the ring from his hand and walked to the door while Aditya said, "Don't lose it again! Everything isn't Aditya Hooda...to keep coming back in your life in one way or the other!"

Zoya slowed down her steps hearing that, without turning back at him, while she closed her eyes and walked away from the cabin. Aditya watched her leave while he took a deep breath and said, "I feel bad for Yash Arora!"

Aditya looked at his watch and uttered, "Damn, I am getting late!"

Aditya walked to his table, took his car keys and walked out.

"I don't understand you!!"

Rita said leaning along the wall of Zoya's room, while Zoya packed her dresses in her bag, vacating her room.

"Yesterday morning you said you like the house, then you said you didn't like it...now you are saying you are shifting there...what's going on in your mind Zoya? Why are you having these many oscillations?"

Zoya placed her dresses inside the bag, while she herself didn't know the answer to Rita's question. Her mind was already populated with her meeting with Aditya at his office. That confrontation with him and his questions started raising new tensions and doubts in her already complicated mindset.

She is marrying Yash within a year. He is building her a new house, as per her wishes. He is ready to do anything for her. But why is her mind not even thinking about him, except when he calls or messages? Her mind is still not used to allotting a space for him. In this case, how is she going to allot space for him for the rest of her life? Being Yash Arora's fiancée, why is she still behaving as Aditya Hooda's ex-wife? And now she is planning to move to Aditya's house; is this a good move or is she complicating things further?

"Zoya!!"

Zoya felt Rita's hand on her shoulder, and she looked at her.

"Are you even listening to me? What happened to you Zoya? Are you okay?" Rita asked, while Zoya said, "I am fine...I just want to shift to a house of my own ASAP...and I decided to adjust with that house...nothing else."
