Earlier that day

Johnathan said he had someone he wanted Jay to meet so they were at his place.

Jay sat across from an old lady in confusion. She kinda looked like a raisin.

"So I wanted you to meet my grandma. Grams, this Jay."

Jay gave him a 'what the fuck look' but Johnathan payed no mind.

"Oh my lord, your the one my baby always be talking bout. Nice to meet you handsome." she said in a flirtatious tone

Jay held an awkward smile, "Nice to meet you too...."

"Just call me grams."

"Cool, nice to meet you too grams. So what Johnathan told you about me?" He asked as he looked over to a cheesing Johnathan.

"All good things, nothing to worry about. But when he told me you was pregnant I almost had a stroke. But if this baby turns out to his, welcome to the family." She smiled.

"Oh ok."

"Come on in the kitchen, I made y'all a lil something."
-

"Damn grams this food bussin." Said Johnathan with a mouth full of food.

Jay inwardly cringed as he watched the older man smack his lips while he chewed his food. He didn't know how he would deal him if he did turn to the father of his child.

To be honest he was ready to go. He wanted to smack the shit out of the older man for putting him in this position.

He knew Johnathan meant well but the dude was a lil weird. Why would he introduce him to his grandma when the baby might not even be his?

"Jay you look kinda young, I never caught how old you were."

Johnathan gave him a wary glance.

"I'm 17."

The room held a deep silence.

"Johnathan motherfucking Porter, you 22 years old and he damn near a baby. What the fuck was you thinking?"

Jay felt extremely uncomfortable as he watched them argue back and fourth. He finally had enough of the bullshit and excused himself.

"It was nice meeting you Mrs. Porter, food was great. Johnathan, I'll hit you up when I get home."

As soon as Jay exited the apartment Johnathan's grandmother turned to him with a face filled with disappointment.

"Why you playing that boy? He ain't got nothing to do with this."
-

"Pay up or move out." Said the super.
