Rakim, East and Jordan were currently at Walmart doing last minute shopping for bunch of extra snacks and decorations for birthday party/ baby shower. Jay's birthday was the next day so they were in a bit of a hurry. While the men did the shopping Jay and Taymor were waiting at the private lounge they'd rented out.

East watched as his two idiot friends used shopping carts as scooters and raced around the department store, knocking down shelves in the process.

An old white woman held a scowl on her face as she re- stacked a pile of fallen canned goods for the third time. "Hooligans." She yelled after the two dark skinned men. In response they laughed.

East rubbed his hand down his face in annoyance. They could never go anywhere without those two acting like idiots."Y'all better stop playing around in they store before we get kicked out." He warned.

Jordan opened a bag of grapes and popped one into his mouth. "Loosen up a lil' bit." He said.

"Yeah." Rakim added as he placed a foot on the ground, causing the cart to stop rolling. "Why so grumpy?"

"I'm not grumpy. I brought y'all with me so y'all could help me shop, not fool around. We tryna get the lounge set up by tonight. Plus we gotta pick up Jay's lil bro cuz his moms got a night shift." Said East as he dropped a couple bags of gummy bears into his cart. The man just wanted everything to be perfect for the younger boy.

"We got you. What else is on the list?" Jordan asked.

East unlocked his gold iPhone XS and scrolled to notes. "One of y'all get a couple packs of different types of cookies and the other could get white table cloths. Imma get the streamers."

Both men nodded and parted ways.

After everything they needed had been collected they joined a separate checkout lines. To East's dismay his cashier was an extremely talkative fan. Don't get him wrong, he loved his fans but sometimes he just wanted to be left alone.

"So is it true? You know, what everyone's saying about the 'scandal' with Jay Critch." Asked the short caramel skinned girl as she scanned and bagged the items.

East reframed from rolling his eyes knowing the girl whom he had learned was named Aisha, meant no harm. "I mean it don't matter what's true and what ain't cause at the end of the day people are going to think and say what they want. Feel me?"

Aisha nodded her head and decided to dig no deeper. Was she curious? Yes, but unlike other people she had respect and knew her place. "Well I know Jay Critch's birthday is tomorrow, is all of this stuff for a party or something?"

"More of a baby shower." He answered. People were gonna find out anyways. More than likely photos of the party would make it to Instagram and other social media platforms.

"Oh my god! He-"

East shushed her considering her outburst of excitement was attracting attention from other shoppers. "I know u excited but let's use our inside voices lil' mama." He laughed.
