Third person

It was a normal day at West Morris high school, Carter was happy to be back and greet her friends whom she hadn't seen for months.
She was in Australia when a drastic change in her appearance happened, she wanted a new change from her boring basic looks that every girl had. She wanted to be riskier, remembered she wanted to be that girl who you see in the hallway just a little glimpse and go wow she looks amazing.

That's what was happening now, her vans made her way to her locker. Like she did every morning with a bright smile on her face. People were shocked that she was different. She just didn't take notice.

Her hand swiftly opened the locker door, her teeth biting her bottom lip as she examined her books.

"Well well well, Johnson looking like a snack!"
A loud obnoxious voice echoed through the hallways entering Carter's presence.
Her head turned to the voice booming through her ears. A light smile appeared her face and her eyes met her best friend Bella, her short straight bob hair bouncing in an upbeat way as she made her way to carter.

"Look what the cat dragged in"

Carter replied as she turned back into her locker where her books laid. She grabbed the ones she needed turn back around shutting her locker.

"Okay Johnson why do you look better than me for once"

Johnson was the name Carter always replied to, also Carter but mostly Johnson. she was known as Johnson. Ever since she was young she liked her last time more than her first. She forced everyone to call her Johnson. She liked it because her parents always use to call her Johnson. They still did.

Her eyes followed down to her outfit, kind of checking herself out in a way. She smiled looking back up.

"I wanted to change, is that so bad?"

Bella liked the changed Carter did she was confused why but liked it.

They both walked through the hallways head held high walking towards homeroom where the rest of their friends would probably be.

Bella opens the door seeing the crowd where she was supposed to be.
All cheers were surrounding around the two teenage girls, bright smiles lifted up making their cheeks turn a shady primrose.

"Oh my God Johnson you look good"

Her friend Stephanie stood up running to hug her. Steph loved Carter and her old looks but she was stunned about her new one.

Carter walked towards the table greeting everyone, the teacher marked her in and said good morning.

Carter took the seat she always took it was like her name was on the seat so no one sat there.

She was popular, there was no doubt about it. She didn't deny it but she didn't say she was. Her group consisted of about 10 people. Though she was only close with a few. They were there obviously just wasn't always there. She still loved them just more than others.

Words were thrown at each other back and forth until one question stood out the most to carter.

"So what's with you and Grayson"

Danny's words stunned Carter's mind, she didn't know what he meant.
She had no clue.
Grayson was also a popular guy.

There are three popular groups in the school.
You had Grayson's group, Sidney's group, and Carters.
Grayson's group was the 'hot jocks' the 'players' the 'lacrosse's' it was a cliche thing every school had it. In every high school, films have it also.
Sidney's was the 'hot chicks' 'cheerleaders' you know that type.
Carter is a cheerleader as well one of the best but she also played Bench ball.
Bench ball captain to be exact.
Carter's group was a group where you could easily go and talk to them and not be judged.

She had no clue what Danny and the others thought about her and Grayson.
Yeah, they have spoken to each other before just not constant.

"I have no clue what you're talking about"

Everyone looked at her in confusion.
They knew all the rumours.
She didn't go to Australia, she spent the whole summer vacation with Grayson. Sleeping around, partying, beach days. The whole the lot.

In reality, she was on the beach with her family, not some jock.

"Your summer fling with Grayson, apparently you two are a thing now"

Bella says raising an eyebrow. Carter makes a face, she stood up walking out shouting.

"I'll see you guys in science"

The feelings she felt wasn't mad or upset she was just really confused on why everyone thought this.

That's when Grayson came in sight, he was doing the same thing looking for Carter.

"Johnson"

I'm really excited to write this and i hope you guys like it, im going with the flow at the moment.
I kind of changed it up by doing it as Third Person. It's easier.
