Third-person

"Are you okay"

Carter was sitting in front of the toilet, not feeling her best. She's been throwing up all morning.

"Yes Ethan I'm fine, the best time of my life"

Ethan rolled his eyes. Grayson was sitting on the side of the tub making sure Carter had a little bit of comfort.
Her eyes were red.

"I'm blaming moms cooking"

Everyone laughed at Carter, she knew it was a lie otherwise everyone would be feeling like shit.

"You know moms cooking would never make us like this"

Carter nodded, she grabbed some toilet roll wiping her face. Herself already knowing she's not going to school today.

"Maybe it's just the flu"

Grayson kissed the top of her head comforting her when she's at her worst.

"Well, it better fucking go I wanna go to school and get the last month of it."

She stood up soaking her face with cool water to freshen up.  Grayson stood up with her hugging her from behind.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

He kissed her cheek and smiled.

"You two better stop before I throw up in the toilet"

Carter laid in bed feeling a lot better. She hasn't thrown up since this morning. But her mind was going crazy. Feeling dizzy and hot.

The downstairs door opened, and Carter sat looked to her bedroom door. Seeing a little Kenzo at the door. Lynette came to the door with her big baby stomach. And four little boys behind her.

"Mom you know I'm not feeling my best"

Kenzo ran and jumped on the bed to lie next to me. Whilst the quadruplets played on the floor. Lynette sat next to Carter feeling her head temperature.

"Sweetie you're burning up"

She opened her purse taking out some medication. Carter doesn't believe in medication- well she says that yet she has a fear of taking it when she doesn't really need it.

"CJ need to get better"

Kenzo says holding Carters hand as he plays with her hand. The love this boy has for Carter is unreal. The love she has for this hot is crazy.

"I will baby don't worry, but mom you know I won't take that"

"Your loss, I got you some pork noodles"

She took out a tub of food that looks like it's just been cooked. With a fork. Carter will be keeping that.

Carter took a piece of food and placed it in her mouth. Okay yeah her mom definitely didn't make her sick. He food is always the best.

"Can we watch a film"

Emmet says innocently picking up the remote on the cabinet. Carter nodded and he changed the channels. Weird child.

"I need you to look after yourself CJ"

Carter nodded agreeing to what her mom was saying. She does need to look after herself but it's the first day. Kind of an excuse to take a day off of high school. Even though it's like a month left until graduation.

"I will I promise, this is just a phase"

"Okay how come you looked like shit this morning and now you're the bomb?"

Bella says passing Carter a fruity smoothie. Which Carter asked her for earlier.

Carter nodded, she did feel a million times better. Probably because she had a shower, food, brushing teeth she did that about 10 times getting the sick taste out of her mouth. Lots of water and some fruit obviously.

"I always look bomb what are you talking about"

"Yeah keep telling yourself that"

Carter rolled her eye sipping more on the fruity smoothie this is definitely what she needed. The soothing coldness she flowing down your throat.

"My baby always looks good, even when she's throwing up her guts in the toilet"

Grayson was drawing on Carters back making her relaxed. She really did appreciate him.

"Thank you baby"

Ethan rolled his eyes at the couple in front of him. Even though he's exactly the same to Bella.

"Don't be jealous Ethan"
