The big plan was for Grayson to go to the school first before Carter. But obviously, Carter was unsure because she hasn't seen him or heard of him. Seeing as they live together, it's not really the whole dream of the guy picking up the girl. Now is it. It was just easier that way. More of a surprise.
Carter wasn't one of the girls that were obsessed about prom. It didn't really play an important part in Carter's life.
With Grayson, he was like that yet somehow this year he's definitely more excited than Carter.
I guess they are playing the opposite genders tonight.
Girls would be crazy about who won the crown of the queen. Prom Queen. Carter thought it was typical. It's always the popular girl. So wouldn't be surprised if Sidney got it.
That's what Grayson liked about Carter, he doesn't feel pressured to be the best. She likes him just the way he is, even when he's a dick.

Carter was doing her makeup at her dresser, as Bella already got read she was straightening Carter's hair.

Bella laughed at Carter. She didn't look too happy in the photo. Carter was going for a dark kind of look. Thought it would look good on a light blue dress.
"Right all done, now hurry up and put that dress on!"
Carter quickly ran over to her dress in her heels trying not to fall. They were a little bit over the course. Which is bad considering carter needs to be there.
She slips on the dress, Bella helping her zip it up.

Carter nodded fiddling with her fingers. She hasn't seen Grayson all day. She definitely needs a dance with him.

The car pulled up to the school, seeing everyone in their outfits definitely made it surreal. Everyone looked good.
She couldn't wait to see what people looked like in the hall though. That was the bit Carter looked forward to the most. Seeing it come alive.
Carter heard singing coming from the hall as she got out of the car.
She smiled at the people around her as she linked arms with Bella.
"This is gonna look so sick CJ"
One of the football jocks shouted at carter. She really did love the compliments.
Bella opened the door to the hall seeing a party already. Carter instantly smiled seeing everyone enjoying themselves.
The party looked amazing. Everyone having a blast. Carter let go of Bellas hold. Embracing the scene in front of her. She slowly watches the scene in front of her.
Everyone dancing with their prom date. It was beautiful.
Carter turned her head seeing the cheerleader all slutty dances. Especially Logan and Sidney. God this is a prom, not a fucking strip club.
They all looked drunk. Did someone spike the punch or some shit? Carter walked over to the drink pouring herself one. She took a sip, the vodka hitting her taste buds hard.
"Fuck"
Carter whispered at the taste. She didn't want to ruin the party and tell the head so she let it be.
Some people were already eating food. It's going quickly. So she'll have some now.

Grayson was sat in his space waiting for Carter. He couldn't wait to see her. Ethan was next to him waiting for Bella too.
Then there she was, all in blue. Grayson stood up watching her as she looked at everyone's fun. She looked stunning.
She looked at Sidney and Grayson laughed at the face she pulled.
He slowly started walking over to her. As she took some food from the food bit. Of course, she goes for some fruit. He stood next to her. Admiring her beauty.
"Mrs Dolan you are the most stunning thing I've ever seen"
She turned her head seeing her love. The one she's missed so much.
"Mr Johnson, looking fine as hell as always"
Her smile was so bright, every time she looked at him. This is what Anthony envied so much. He looks at her the way she looks at him.
"How's my queen?"
Carter smiled kissing his cheek. He blushed at the little moment.
