Grayson finally was at peace when Sidney left, god he hates that girl so much.
He walks upstairs and back in his room. This was no surprise, this was a daily routine. That's how boring his relationship is. Though when he was with Carter they never had a boring day.
He just laid in his bed. If he was with Carter right now they would probably be having a pillow fight.
He still loved her, of course, he did feelings don't go in two months nearly three months now.
Carter was at her mom's house, the kids were putting on their winter clothing ready to go out in the snow.
The school was cancelled because the snow blocked the doors of the high school. Carter had her winter coat on and a jumper with some leggings. She was ready.
Kenzo was on her lap eating the rest of the fruit that was in her bowl.
He was leaning on her kind of hugging her.
Bella was opposite her eating some mashed up avocado on toast. She leant the recipe from Ethan, he loves them.
"Santa Claus is coming soon buddy! What did you ask him?"
Bella said poking Kenzo's stomach, he laughed. He put his hands on his face.
"I asked Santa- Carter happy"
Carter looked down at the little brown-haired boy who just made her love him even more than she had already. If that's possible.
"You asked for her happiness instead of toys?"
Kenzo smiled grabbing his tissue then hugged Carter, she smiled kissing his head. She didn't realise she was so miserable. Over a boy.
He jumped off her running over to the dogs.
"Damn i must look like shit"
Carter laughed looking at Kenzo, for a little three year to see her emotions really opened her up.
"Carter we all see it, you need to talk to Grayson. Try even if he pushes you down or rejects you keep trying"

Everyone was in the front playing in the snow. Carter had just finished making cookies for Grayson.
She put them in a tub and walked to his house, Ethan said he was in a shower so this gives her the perfect time to just put them on his bed. She opened the door of the house with Ethan behind her. She quickly but quietly ran upstairs opening his bedroom door, she tiptoed to his bed placing the tub of cookies on there and quickly left without a trace of her being there. Well, only the cookies but you know what she means. The doorknob of the bathroom opened and she ran down the stairs. Trying not to get caught. She left the cookies with a message. 'Enjoy🖤' She sighed as she leant against the Dolan door.
"I was shitting my pants"
Ethan laughed at her as her breathing wasn't normal, she literally ran up the stairs and back down. She clearly doesn't exercise much for a team captain.
"Come on losers let's play in the snow"
Bella shouted grabbing there hands and pulling them on the road where the other kids were.
They were playing in the snow, everyone ganging up on the older kids whilst Kenzo was chasing Carter. He was fast for a three-year-old.
Carter picked him up chucking him in the air and landing back safe in her arms. He laughed as she did this.
"Grayson!"
All the kids even Kenzo shouted running to him he smiled at them. He heart rate picked up seeing the box of cookies in his arms. He walked straight up to Carter. Did he not like them? She made them exactly the way he liked them.
He pushed the box into her chest harshly and let go making them land in her arms. He looked her straight in the brown eyes he loves.
"I don't want your charity"
He walked away from Carter walking back to his house.
"I won't stop trying Grayson!"
She followed him up to his house, but he stopped and looked at her. He could see she was hurting. You can see both of them are hurting.
"You had your chance"
