Day of prom

Carter woke up at 4 am exactly, she was excited for today. All this preparation for tonight. She hopes it goes amazing.

She turned away from the mirror still seeing Grayson asleep. Last night when she got home he was already in bed asleep. He was tired before so, she doesn't blame him.

"See you tonight baby"

She kissed his forehead walking away from the bed and downstairs.

"Okay, so i think we should polish the floor. Just so it looks nicer. "

The only two in school right now is her and Anthony. They wanted to be extra sure everything was alright for tonight.

"Or maybe we can sweep it, i think polishing it will be extra. Also, it might not go to plan. "

Carter nods, he's right. The polisher is actually really hard to use, especially if you've never used it before.

"I'll get the brooms"

Anthony walked over to the brooms, we have to make sure they go away later. Carter put her clipboard down ready to start this job.

"Shall we play some music"

The playlists for tonight was organised also by Carter. As she did it in her spare time. Also, this was something Anthony would've had no clue about.

"Okay so Anthony can you grab the other side please"

At the rear entrance will be a photo booth type, a professional one and a silly one. Which i think everyone would be thankful for. You don't have to pay. Which is a bonus?

Also, it would be nice to have memories of tonight. It's supposed to be a magical night. One to remember. So hopefully no screw-ups.

"I think this will be my best part"

Anthony says looking at Carter, he can't get her off her mind. Even if she's in sweat pants and a sweater she will still be the diamond in the rough.

Anyway enough about his feelings.

The guilt still ran through Carter's veins. She hasn't spoken to Grayson since yesterday. I guess he's still mad about how she left. Yet, when she got in bed he was sweating. He didn't cuddle her like he normally does.

Maybe she's just over exaggerating.

"Who do you think gonna be prom king and queen?"

Carter looks up from what she was doing to look at Anthony.

"I reckon Sidney she probably forged all of the votes"

Carter said with a cheeky smile laughing. She probably did. She would've definitely done something like that.

"Who do you think?"

Anthony stopped tying a knot.

"Probably Grayson and Sidney, no offence."

Carter laughed. Imagine if that happened though. That would hurt.

"Good thinking though"

Carter awkwardly laughed and went back to her work.

"Sis it looks good!"

Bella gave carter a side hug looking at all the work Anthony and Carter had been doing.

"Awh thank you, im so excited. I can't wait for people to start coming in"

Bella nodded. Looking at Carter with big eyes.

"Have you spoken to Grayson today?"

Carter said at both Ethan and Bella, you would've expected him to come with them but no.

"To be honest i thought he left with you. When we went to wake you up both of you weren't there"

Ethan explains to Carter, she gives him a puzzled look.

"He might've gone to pick up his suit"

Anthony says to make Carter not worry about Grayson. Yet she was nervous.

"His suit is at home"

Bella grabbed Carter's arms, a sign of comfort. Comfort she needed.

"Hey what's up? What's happened"

"Nothing I just have a bad feeling that's all."

Bella nodded giving Carter a little hug and then going back to Ethan.
