Carter Grabbed the carving knife as everyone was around the table. Carter drew a normal scary face. This year she was doing the design simple but the finished look would make her stand out in the crowd.

Her brother and sisters were on one side whilst Bella, Carter and Ethan were one side.

Ethan was going full out, Bella was doing a cat. Like she always did.

Carter cut the eyes out putting her cutouts in a bowl to later throw in the bin.

The kids could draw except the older ones so mom did the design's they wanted and helped them to cut it out.

I dont understand how shes got the patience with the kids.

Carter pumpkin was smaller than everyone because it's less work.

She read the message he sent the other day but didn't reply. She read this one again and put her phone down turning it around so she couldn't see the screen.

"You're still ignoring him?"

Carter nodded at Ethan's question.
Ethan sighs. She's only ignoring him because she wants him to talk in person.

"I really do think you should go talk to him, his miserable without you"

"Then he should grow some balls and talk to me in person. This just proves how much of a puss-"

"Carter language"

Carter mumbled a sorry carving her pumpkin again. She's already started on the teeth.

"So Bella, your birthday is soon. What do you want?!"

Mom was excited, Bella was always a daughter to mom. She was literally family. Basically my twin. She's just older.

Mom couldn't wait until it was her birthday, mom was planning on making it official. Making Bella her daughter. Adopt her.

"To move in with Carter"

Bella laughed and so did Carter. They already painted the room. Designed it. New bed everything. All they needed now was her stuff which is still in her current bedroom.

"Oh my god yh you're going to be my roomie"

Bella and Carter laughed. Carter took the last piece of her pumpkin out. She walked to her bag taking out neon paint.

Designing the pumping in patterns so it would glow in the dark when its outside.

"Isn't that cheating"

Ethan said watching her, Carter shook her head as she painted some bits.

"This is Carter she always wants to be the best"

"That's wrong! I am the best"

Carter winked at Bella who just cringed at her best friend. She was very over the top with stuff like this. She always thought she was in a competition.

"That's Carter OVER dramatic"

Willa said, she may be 10 but she has a gob. Khalessi just laughed hit giving her at the comment. Them two are just pure evil.

Carter just laughed concentrating on her pumpkin.

"Mine should go to the front because mine is the smallest"

Carter placed her pumpkin down sticking her tongue out to the quadruplets. Emmet, jet, Alarik and warren had the biggest ones out of all of us. So there's were placed at the back. It was like a family portrait just messed up height order, and how big they are. Mom carved a baby pumpkin for soon to be baby Ivy.

Ethan and Bella took a snap chat, whilst the kids were watching them. Then Ethan took photos with him and the kids also Bella in the background.

The kids ran inside as Lynette just smiled at the three.

"I'll see you guys soon. I love you all"

Ethan smiled, thank goodness she likes him. Carter sad her goodbyes Bella said them after.

The couple walks back to the Dolan house.

"You coming-"

"I don't know"

Carter scratched her head, Bella grabbed her hand pulling her to the Dolan door.

"Do it for the tortoises, they are named now all 6 of them."

"Yeah Grayson named three and so did i"

Carter nodded as they opened the door. She followed behind the two walking straight into the kitchen.

"Right these are my three"

"Didn't i buy them FOR Grayson?"

"Well im there uncle, Grayson is the dad"

Ethan laughed picking up his two whilst Bella picked up his other one. It's weird how they know which one's which.

Carter looked at the other three looking down at the others. They've gotten bigger.

"Hi little guys you beautiful little cupcakes"

Carter stroked their heads watching them. They were climbing to the side waiting to get picked up. Carter picked each one up giving them a kiss on the heads. She put them on the counter watching them walk around. She kept a close eye on the three so none of them fell.

She just admired them, this was a food idea fo but them.

"You know Grayson named them after you"

Bella said who suddenly appeared at her side. Carter looked at her and shook her head.

"They are all named after your fruitarian thing. Mango, banana and strawberry"

She pointed to each one. To the name that belongs to each. Bella hugged the behind of Carter as tears slipped from her eyes.

"I know what he did was bad, and i have so much respect for you because you're taking no shit from it. Especially now that it's on social media because of Sidney. But he really does care for you. I've never seen him cry before"
