And all of a sudden all the songs I thought were beautiful and meant for us
have a whole new meaning
It upsets me to hear them on the radio
or my phone cause it reminds me of horrible memories
All those times you looked at me with those beautiful soft brown eyes
smiled shyly
and acted stupidly around me
couldn't have been up in my mind
They were real
And somewhere in between they weren't
They started to become fiction in a non fiction world
Did I read too far between the lines?
Give a wrong meaning to the vibes you gave off?
I didn't think so till now,
when I noticed how truly happy she makes you
When I see you together my heart hurts
and I used to have no idea why
But now I do
Cause we were never meant to be,
not even for a little, short amount of time
You came into my life at the right moment
to cheer me up
and left at the right moment to continue
leaving me sad
I love you and never will I stop
but maybe I should take your signs and truly
let you go
