Every time I step outside and walk around I'm taken back to moments with you

The way you kissed me in the car wash by my college

The way your hands felt on my body at the rec center across from your high school

The way your eyes could see my soul and calm the storms inside me

The way your voice always managed to calm me when I felt like I was going to have a breakdown

The way the warmth of your hugs always made me feel safe and loved

The way your smile made my day

The way I longed to hear the words "I love you" leave your lips and melted on the inside when I did

I want out of this city, because you aren't mines and yet I can't stop thinking about you
