I want you to count to three
One
....
Two
....
Three
....
And as fast as it was to count to three
even with the breaks in between,
is how fast "three months" can go by
They say you start to see one's true
habits after 3 months
and boy, were they right
I stood by the fact that you claimed
to be unlike the others
- more of a homebody
- stood by pinkie promises
- really just genuine stand up guy
But 3 months later everything changed
And almost a year later, things feel
like they've gotten even worse
