No one knows

No one knows how it feels to hold back the tears

Suppress the pain

Put a fake smile on every morning

Practise your response to "how are you doing"

Going over it again and again in your head

"I'm fine" and show an unbroken smile, unwavering

fake happiness

No flaws, no faults, hidden imperfections, all because

deep down no one really cares

No one ever did

Why do you think they left and left you in

pieces at that?

They saw how much of a mess you could be
- I could be and wanted nothing to do with that

I can't say I blame them though, I just never thought

you would get tired of me - but look at it once again. Broken promises

Please, if you ever really loved me, don't hold on

for too much longer. I can't bear to see you get

any more hurt than I caused already.

-Goodbye my teddy bear
-I love you
