We reached the study. There sitting at his desk was Ciel Phantomhive. He had a cup of tea in his left hand and a newspaper in his right, which blocked my vision of his face till he set the newspaper down. "Oh, you must be the girl I've been hearing about. I'm Ciel Phantomhive and you're (First-Middle-Last). Am I right?" He asked taking another sip of his tea. "Correct," I confirmed. "Well (Your Name), you're welcome to stay here but if anyone asks, you're a maid here. I can't have a rumor going around that a girl is staying here at the manor. It would damage my reputation. I won't make you work but if you would like to work as a maid you are more than welcome to." He said emotionless. He picked his newspaper back up and continued to read thoroughly. "Well, honestly I don't do the whole maid thing but if you would like me to work for you, can't I come on trips with you and Sebastian and help you piece things together? I'm not as skilled as he is, but I have knowledge for along the way if needed." I scratched the back of my neck feeling uneasy till it started to have a burning sensation to it. Ciel looked up from the newspaper and gave me a surprised look. I then realized I shouldn't have said something like that. I forgot that I was supposed to play stupid. I shouldn't be getting involved with any of this at all. I was busted. "Shit." I sighed. "Sebastian, I'm going to tell him." I looked back at Sebastian who was right behind me. "Very well." He bowed. "Whats the meaning of this Sebastian? Whats going on!?" Ciel demanded. "Excuse me young master let us explain the situation. If you would kindly let us." He said putting his hand on his chest and kneeling down in front of Ciel's desk. "I'm listening."
Third P.O.V
(Your Name) spent the next hour explaining what had happened to her and what was going on. She still refused to tell them how she knew everything about them, but they didn't question her any further. Ciel finally decided to speak up after hearing all that shocking information. "Miss (Last Name), I'd advise you not to get involved with my game. Once you become a pawn of mine there is nothing but danger. You can easily get hurt or in the way. It would be stupid of you to get involved." Ciel explained. "I agree with the young master. I don't want you involved. I wouldn't want you to get harmed." Sebastian added. "I know, and I'm willing to accept those terms. I really don't mind. It's the least I can do for you and Sebastian for letting me stay here for the time being. I already know he can do this all on his own but you can get things done faster, and more things done efficiently. I can help you avoid unnecessary inconveniences." She added. Ciel gave out a sigh. "(Your Name) I don't think you should get invol--" Ciel cut him off. "Fine, if you want to you can tag along with Sebastian and I, but remember, it's your fault if anything happens to yourself. That's the consequences of being one of my pawns." (Your Name) nodded and accepted his terms. She turned around to see Sebastian with a worried look on his face, but she ignored it. It looked like Sebastian was trying to keep it together especially because he was in front of Ciel. "Sorry. If you disagree with me Sebastian that's fine. It's my choice. Besides, I know more than you think. I'm more than what meets the eye. I can make your job so much easier. I want to help you anyway. You took me in and helped me. It's the least I can do even if you don't want the help." She stated. It looked like Sebastian wanted to say something more, but she quickly left the room so she didn't have to hear his protest.
Your P.O.V
I made my way out of the intense atmosphere and down the stairs. I made my way to the outside of the manor. It was definitely a pretty sight, like a fairy tale. The smell of freshly cut grass and cut hedges hit my nostrils. I walked around until I stumbled across a beautiful garden. In that garden was a familiar blonde cheerful boy. "Hi, Finnie!" I shouted as I gave him a wave. His eyes widened at the sight of me and his cheeks went rosy red.
Finnie's P.O.V
What stood before me was a beautiful young lady. Her (Hair Color) hair gracefully blew in the wind. Her big (Eye Color) eyes had a shine to them. What she was wearing was quite strange but she was quite the beauty. "O-Oh, H-Hello! W-Who might y-you be miss?" I stuttered. She approached me. "Oh, my bad. I forgot to introduce myself. I'm (First-Middle-Last), and I'll be working at the Phantomhive manor for a while. It's a pleasure to meet you, Finnie." She gave me a smile which made my cheeks go even redder than before. Even her name was beautiful. "Were you watering the flowers? Here, let me lend you a hand." She took the watering can out of my hand and she started to finish watering the flowers. As she was doing so I picked her a flower out of the garden. I approached her from behind and tapped her shoulder. "Here (Your Name), I saw this beautiful flower that had grown and It reminded me of you." I gave her the flower and she walked closer to me and hugged me tightly. Without hesitation, I hugged her back. "Finnie you're such a sweetheart. Thank you." She pulled away from the hug and gave a smile. She slipped the flower stem into her hair resting the stem on her ear. "Well, Finnie it was a pleasure meeting you but I'm going to head back inside. I'll see you later." She said as she ran off. "Wait, she called me sweetheart... " I thought as I felt all warm inside.
Your P.O.V
I stumbled through the front door and when I did there standing before me was a very distressed Mey-Rin sitting on the floor trying to clean up the plates she dropped and Baldroy standing there next to her holding the bridge of his nose scolding her for the same mistake she had made for what seemed to be the millionth time. "Now look what you did. Clean this mess up immediately! Before Sebastian sees.." Baldroy yelled. I rushed over to Mey-Rin who was on the floor picking up the glass plates that were shattered across the floor. " Hey, let me help you guys out." I started to pick up the pieces of glass on the floor. "N-No! You're a guest! Yes, you are!" Mey-Rin stuttered. Baldroy agreed. "No, I'm working here now officially. Anyway, Baldroy you go to the kitchen and start cooking dinner for Ciel. Don't you need dinner done In a few hours?" I reminded him. "Bloody hell, you're right! Before I go back to the kitchen, might I ask who might you be?" He asked giving a smile. "I'm (First Name). I'll be working with you guys for awhile. Now get back to the kitchen and do your best." I said giving him a reassuring smile. Without anything else said, he rushed back to the kitchen which left me and Mey-Rin to clean the dishes. I looked at her face and I noticed she looked exhausted. "Hey Mey-Rin, did you get any sleep last night? You look fucking tired. How about I clean the mess and you go get some sleep. Alright?" I said patting her on the back. "No, I must stay and finish my work for the young master.. yes I must." She worried. "Look, I'll clean up a bit around the manor and say you did it. Sound like a deal?" I gave her a smile and she smiled back. "Really? Why would you do that for a mere stranger?" She asked looking surprised and confused. "Because us girls have to stick together right? Besides Mey-Rin, I like you. You're my friend, and we'll be working together from here." I gave out a small chuckle. "Thank you, (Your Name)." After that Mey-Rin left the ballroom and she was no longer in my sight.
"Well, that was quite generous of you to do (Your Name)." A familiar voice came from behind me at the top of the stairs. There stood Sebastian and Ciel observing from afar. I didn't want them to see that. There were no secrets in this place. "Yeah, well it looked like she was tired so I thought I'd help her out," I mumbled. "I see," Sebastian said as both of them approached me. "(Your Name), please watch the manor while I am gone with Sebastian. I'd ask you to come but it's something between me and the queen. She's been caged up in her room for a long time since the death of her husband. I'm paying her a visit." Ciel informed me. I nodded and they both made their way out of the manor. Sebastian still looked disappointed at me for my decision but at that point, there's nothing I could do about it. "He'll have to forgive me eventually right?" I mumbled.
